I swear some of the writers really have it out for Doremi, just like Usagi from the classic Sailor Moon series, they just can't catch an break no matter what they're doing.
I’m sure they saw it as a funny bit like “oh look doremi can never do anything well whenever they change the shop” but even as a child I never found it funny I was always wondering “why are people always mean to her” or “why is she the only one who fails when the others don’t”
@@appy_chu I agreed that how I felt about Usagi from Sailor Moon, but here Doremi seems to get it worse, I just feel sorry for her, despite her a few flaws she's very kind soul, but seeing her always getting the short end of the stick is kinda painful to watch.
At least Usagi is the only one to have a boyfriend between the inner sailors, at least it is compensate. Doremi can't even be understood or listen to when she had a crush on Akatsuki, basically the only one in the anime that somehow treat her kindly and don't make fun of her... and the narration bully her to go with a classmate that randomly and casually did her some kind gestures, while he is so into soccer he forget to consider fully her feelings and seriously commit their relationship (not a fan of either ships, but I don't like, expecially in the light novels, how they make Doremi's relationships, and how they bashed on Akatsuki).
About the writers hating on Doremi (fine not doing the Mary Sue treatment on the mc, but this hating on her is another level), this season toned down compared to the previous seasons... exept for a particular episode that will come. It will be an episode Doremi centred, but I hated how it was so dismissive and getting on making Doremi suffering, and everyone getting away with it... with her needing to learn a lesson in the end
ya they did tone down especially with her and pop but I still always hated how in the start of every season she always fails to make anything nice with whatever their new theme is
@user-zh4mt4bf3f Don't talk to me about Pop too. While the writers seems to love torture Doremi they seem to treat Pop with gloves and love her. And I know it is very emotional, but I ended hating Pop expecially for this reason. Whatever Pop have some distress and is sad it is treated as national emergency we should all be sad about, while if this is happening to Doremi her big sister, is dismissed or make at joke at worst. Just think about it, they come from the same family, but why Pop need to be comforted while Doremi need to mature for their family problems? And the nail of the coffin in the end of the serie? Where the writers almost justify Pop treating Doremi badly "since Doremi treated Pop bad when they where little?", gave Doremi a break. PS the only valid reason I see is Doremi being a big sister and having responsibilities over Pop, but I think is not handled well at all.
@@almaclara5454 ya I never understood why she was treated like the perfect child when she acted like a normal kindergartener sure she was a little more reliable than doremi but doremi was always the one to help her from the shadows
I say this is an alright episode, which pretty shows the daily life of the Ojamajos, now with a new job, and Momoko joining in. The other thing I think deserve mentioning is that the continuities are still there, though I think after watching 2 seasons of this, viewers should expect that by now. I think the most interesting part of the episode is the cooking part, which will become an important part of the season later. Oh, and I am not sure is there is such thing as low-calories cheesecake.
yes this might be filler episode but it was also seting up pieces for later monster teacher who run over kids with her yaris was there to low key introduce her not just as an other class homeroom teacher it also starts to hide one teacher who would make more sense for seki to hang out with for some reason
Well, that was quite... Annoying. Doremi was almost Donald Duck or Usagi level of buttmonkey and the rest was pointless. Well, hope it gets better as it goes...
I've always thought Doremi had the cutest cookie form among the other girls, and she doesn't deserve this treatment.
