Hi Steve.I hesitate to unbox my newly arrived Sana 878 in case I should exchange it... because of mixed reviews. Some love Nama J2 and order extra parts. I'm a senior. Want to juice oranges, greens, all kinds of vegies and fruits. Mixed reviews recommend H10 and H400 for easier clean just ing. Some like accessories that come with the new Sana 878, but not the way it juices some things like oranges/greens etc....and frozen sherbert leaves chucks. The hopper sometimes gets pulp stuck in blades?? Difficult to clea? Difficult to to open the lid? Before I open the Sena 878 box, which is the best one for a ffuture juicing excited 80 year old?? Thanks so much for your great review.

Hey Steve I just wanted to ask a (not so) quick question if you don't mind. I just got my Sana 878 and ran it through a gauntlet against my Kuvings C7000 and I have to be honest so far I'm not hugely impressed. It's a really nice looking juicer, easy to clean and I do like it but it seems to put a fair bit more pulp in the juice vs the C7000 does while for the most part only matching the C7000's yield. Whether it was Kale, Grapefruit, Oranges, Apples, Cranberries or Pomegranate the conclusions were pretty much the same, same yields but more pulp in the Sana. I dont mind a little bit of pulp but I'd rather not have to sieve everytime I juice. Do you find that the Sana produces a lower yield than the Auto10 and do you also find it to be a pulpier juice on average than the Kuvings? If so do you happen to have any tricks as a workaround? I'm not a huge fan of buy and return process but if the Sana 878 is commonly the more pulpy juice I might have to think about switching out for the Auto10. I appreciate any feedback you can offer. Thanks again Steve

Hi MrJ.31, from the testing we have done we haven't really seen much pulp (or enough to be worried about performance ) however we understand that its down to preference, ingredients, mechanisms etc and what we feel is perfectly fine might be to much pulp for someone or not enough pulp for someone else. In terms of C7000 we know they have a really good mechanism so it is understandable that it produces relatively pulp-free juices. The AUTO10 follows this pattern, also having a really good mechanism, plus the self-feeding feature so if you do feel like you are wanting to switch then you have picked a good choice to switch to from the 878. Overall it comes down to your preference, juicing is about the nutrients from the juice but also the process of making it and the experience of the whole process so if you feel like the 878 isn't the best juicer for you and impacts the process then we understand wanted to swap to a different juicer. We currently have a Black Friday sale on so if you do feel like switching, now would be an ideal time. Hope this helps!

@juicersuk it does I appreciate your feedback! Do you guys feel that the Auto 10/10+ produces a higher yield and a thinner juice than the Sana878 on average or have you found it's usually the other way around with the Sana usually doing a slightly better job in that regard? Also do you know of any differences between the 878 and the Hurom H330 as far as performance goes?

Hey MrJ.31, we haven't compared the two juice yields so its tough to say with 100% conviction which juicer produces a better yield. As mentioned we think the AUTO10 does have a better mechanism so we would stick with that answer. In terms of differences between the H330P and 878, the H330P comes with a newer screen based mechanism from Hurom which is known to be a very good mechanism whereas the 878 has Sana's is slightly older however the differences wouldn't be noticeable in terms of yield and juice quality so it comes down to preference, design, accessories etc.

I have a Kuvings Auto 10 why should I purchase this?

Hi wolverinegnr, to be completely honest, if there is no need to buy a new juicer then I would stick with the AUTO10. If you aren't getting on with the AUTO10 or if it is broken and you are looking for a new juicer that's similar then I would go with this or the Hurom H400.

I like the Huron H400 because it's easy to clean the screen but I don't find the stainless steel screens that much more difficult to clean and I think it makes a better juice. Just my opinion

Very similar to the Nama J2 but looks more stylish

It is exactly the same as the Nama J2 and made in the same factory by Hurom. These are OEM products essentially brands such as Nama and Sana are using the same technology but putting their own badge on. The main difference here is that Sana 878 comes with additional accessories which make it more stylish and premium.

Yes it's an excellent juicer. I prefer the stainless steel screen and I don't find it hard to clean at all 😊

Its not great on oranges or lemon or greens, even with layering. They all get stuck on the blades. Im livid to be honest. Saved for years for this type of juicer, and the blade wont even cut through an orange!
