I only get to OBX once a year to fish & I Love fishing there. I really enjoy your videos. You are solo fortunate That you live there & can always fish there. Those were some good size mullets.
The Nor’easter really drove the bait out the first half of this last week. Couldn't buy a fish (cob’s) literally till Wednesday. Caught and released a 33” Red on Wednesday on the south end of 38. Sea Mullet, Puffers, weakies, pinfish and sea perch showed up Wednesday night on 55 and slayed on there on Thursday.
I love your channel. I'll be at OBX end of May and would love to have the kind of success you do. Do you ever do tag alongs and teach others to surf fish?
What were you using for bait? For a long time I would use shrimp but in recent years I've switched to Fish Bites because it stays on the hook so much better. That being said I do think shrimp gets more bites but the FB has a better hookup rate in my experience. Curious to hear what you use and what your thoughts are on the subject.
Another amazing video!!!!
Thanks Leroy...You da man brother
