39 hours (both seasons but especially the first) is, in my opinion, the best fishing content series ever put on UA-cam. Don’t get me wrong, you’ve made some incredible series but the blend of humor and great fishing for a wide variety of species in 39hrs is unparalleled. Really stoked to see you doing some content inspired by that. Would love to see this same challenge in different places you go. Next time you do an international trip with some other folks it would be great to see this as a you vs others competition in another part of the world with super unfamiliar fish to those of us that live and fish in the US like you do

I personally like these multi species videos more because it promotes uniqueness, and is overall just a fun watch. please continue these species videos, and a documentary like the australian one would be mint
Love the video! Try this in Wisconsin! We have Largies, smallies, pike, musky, walleye, sauger, coho salmon, king salmon, brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, sturgeon (you can legally catch), panfish, perch, crappie, white bass, bowfin, channel cats, flathead cats, burbot/eelpout, gar, lake trout, and a wide variety of carp/suckers.

Maine girl loving this video 💚 I get the frustration with weather. We went out today and had to go back in because it started raining and app said some thunder storms. It quick passed and never any thunder. We would have waited it out. One of Maine's mottos is if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute

When the weathers hot(mid summer) the trout go deep, I like jigging a bucktail, for brookies you want to be about 15-25 feet deep, lake trout, the deeper the better but you can suspend your jig anywhere deeper then 30-40 they feed throughout the deep half of the water column and love suspended prey.

Awesome video, I'm in maine as well. Now I want to try. You probably could have got LMB, SMB, striper, yellow, white, and catfish if you fished a coastal river like the kennebec or the androscoggin.

I honestly know how you felt at the end of this video I have a son that is going on 11 years old and and I try to give him every great moment I can in this life whatever it may be between hunting or fishing and I can honestly say I hope he has the same motive as both me and you. Well the objective was to catch as many as possible and you admitted yourself that you have never attempted to catch over 10 different species. But you did exactly that so technically you did complete the challenge so don't be so hard on yourself Jon. You did the absolute best and you controlled what you could. And made an awesome video in the process of it keep you head up man and get em next time

Amazing concept...you should try again over 48 hrs (2 days lets you catch more species - you could have gotten the trout, Togue, maybe Sturgeon or Muskie in Northern Maine) with a collab like the Carl & Alex video and face off against 1Rod1Reel. Florida, California, Texas would be epic
