I just love how sure Tim is when he plays. He's just like "yeah, I know exactly what I'm doing." XD it's awesome. On top of that he's actually a really, really GOOD guitar player and singer.
I've listened to all of RA's albums, and maybe their older stuff had more grit, but the meaning is still their even if it's accompanied by some studio tweaking, so I wouldn't say this is a bad song, it could be one of their best even (though the original everchanging is still my favorite)
Rise Against actually record songs in a old fashioned way they don't record one part at a time like most modern bands well at least they claim that in the interview so studio engineering doesn't come into it really
killallsuvivors . I really don't think that's what he ment, they do record one part at a time, otherwise it would be nearly impossible to get it perfect. But he said they did less tweaking on his voice now than on earlier albums, so yeah, more like the old fashioned way :)
MadeBySiD I'm just repeating what I read and I am going to take it at face value how they said it and disagree with you maybe they mean something different but they definitely implied no studio effects were used
@AlmostaFlipinSkater ...i've listened to all of RA's songs. Weight of Time is a great song, and RPM is a great album, but i think they matured more and i think it sounds great.
I wonder how much pitch correction they use in the studio. He's excessively flat live(maybe just here). It wasn't as bad @ house of blues. In fact, the one at Werchter 2010 was quite good; his pitch was spot on most of the time.
The moment where I'd be the only person in the crowd who knows who Bad Religion is..
Cody Ford you’re not the only one

Listen to Weight of Time. Oh wait, you probably have never even known there's a song called that. Atleast listen to Revolutions.
