I've never been behind the wheel of a Tesla but I now am driving the new Nikola TRE BEV. It blows away other trucks and takes off like a Tesla. I can even do a small burnout without a trailer. Electrics are so much fun and have so much torque.
Great to hear your dad is doing better. Hoping he makes a full recovery. Thank you for the ride in the Tesla. That's as close I'll get to one. The folks across the street have two of them. I often wondered what the noise was when they backed up.
I am enjoying your balanced reviews of various ev vehicles. Regarding the Model 3 that you purchased from Carvana, you had a discussion with MWM at the beginning of the video regarding a problem you discovered with the car and a following video to discuss that. Please help me to locate that video. I can’t find it. Thanks.
First of all nice car 🚗 second I am glad your dad is doing well. I enjoyed the video on the cars as well its crazy that the car can do all of that stuff. It looked a little scary there 😳 😬 😅
Hi Randy, great video, you two really enjoy yourselves that was great fun to watch,I was astonished when your Gas (petrol in the UK ) you thought was high at $4 a gallon...................although our Gallons are just a tad bigger than yours I just put just over 7 gallons in my car and that cost me £58.00 UK =$76.34c US, thats $10.54c a gallon to you.... I wish i could pay your pump prices, but anyway just a thought so glad you Dad is on the mend and you have bridged the gap with him, best wishes to you for the great content
I went to that same Tesla dealer a couple weeks ago to test drive a model y I work almost walking distance away I wish I would have went when you did it would be one hell of an experience to meet you
Fun video, and great to see that you're working to re-connect with your Father after all these years. I remember some of your older videos surroundingi the topic. Really positive all-around!
@autoaictionrebuilds your channel brings me back to high school. Mike: wow look at how tight those guys pants are! Me: oh yeah you can see what religion he is too 😂 😮
Glad to hear that ur dad is doing well randy! On tesla cars this trip changed some ideas i have around tesla really! 360 miles on a model 3 is very acceptable range for a city use or even travelling if theres enough charging stations! Here in saudi arabia i think offically we got 1 that isn't near me so if some one got it any how home charging is good enough for it and 576 kilometers of range is enough for a daily use of a month give or take before charging it if u wont charge it every night like any tesla owner
Oh yes you two together are very good to watch. This video was so good. Love watching when you guys travel together..Keep them coming great content. Awesome light show. Thanks man.
Awesome content on the 2022 Tesla. And I’m glad your dad is doing good. What a crazy car that blew my mind just watching you just like doing the self driving mode right there that was insane completely man I would’ve shit Myself I would make sure that I would have an extra pair of boxers shorts in the glove compartment. Lol keep up the good work Randy looking forward to the next video
Great review of the Teslas. I'm still considering getting one. This video was awesome. The 2 of you make a great team. How are the insurance premiums for a Tesla?
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds very glad to hear that, loving all of your videos, and I'm glad you and your dad getting better with each other. Keep at it man you're doing awesome im a big fan. Lots of greetings from germany🙏
Glad to hear your dad is doing better. And happy to hear you are getting along well with him. Regardless of the past, he loves you and will be proud to see how well you did for yourself. And God has blessed you and him. And keep the great content coming. You and Mike make a great team. You need Santa's workshop, Austin Carr and tk with you for more entertainment. Good luck brother.

Great video. Im suprised you didnt take the scamp up there and have Mike experience that wonder on the return trip. Serious though looks fun as hell and you have me wanting one.
Randy, you and I emailed about the Ham Radio equipment a wile back and I 'm glad your dad is doing better and he will be able to get back in the air. I know his call sign and I will look for him so we can have a QSO. Enjoy your dinner.
I factor in things like: Speed - I can eat an Elantra or a Camaro SS for breakfast with my eyes closed. Options - an Elantra can't even begin to compare to the comfort features this car has in 2022. Comfort - An Elantra (I've owned 5) isn''t even in the same class of car as a Tesa - Reliability / warranty (your Elantra has no warranty at all - I have 10yrs / 100k miles) - Maintenance - I have no oil changes, no brakes to replace, no transmission to keep serviced and no coolant to flush - All wheel drive for those wet / winter conditions (Elantra can't do that) - fuel economy - You get 36mpg which is great! However for 90% of my needs I can get 1000 miles for $20.00 charging at home, which you also can't even begin to come close to in economy.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds replace the battery ... my car is 15 years old and is all original....now replace your battery and tell me which car is cheaper to drive....after all that was your premise?
I personally don’t care about the gas savings or lack there of. I want one just to say I have had one. That said my old brick nose fits is paid for along with my house. I absolutely do not want another car payment added to my wallet until it’s time to get my wife another new car.
WHAT I WANT TO KNOW DO YOU HAVE TO COOLENT CAUSE SURLY THE MOTOR GETS VERY HOT AND IT WOULD PROBABLY BURN OUT AND PUT MOTOR OIL IN TO IT AND ID IF SO WHERES THE DIP STICK IF YOU DO
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds so sorry for asking but so how dose the electric motor keeps cool and lubricated then i mean as i said the motor seized i mean just think all those mechanics are going to loose there jobs if all electric car comes in cause all the thing the was learned from we be no more
Congrats on the new car! I have the same car and MSM color with white interior and sport wheels 2022, but I still like the wheels and brightwork of your old car better. Wish I could get those wheels from your old car!
You'll pay 12k for the self driving feature just for it to be enabled nothing physically added? And it doesn't stay with the car if you sell it? Such a scummy company
I might buy an EV someday but I am never selling my Jeeps. My 82 Cherokee is basically a lawn ornament now it gets 10 miles per gallon I have to go back to driving a minivan for the mpg
How do you figure it is cheaper and more environmentally friendly to run this. Electric car when it takes coal fired energy plants and diesel generators to charge them ? makes no common sense at all ?
If you get into the full self driving beta program it’s a whole different experience. What you have now only drives by itself on the freeway not city streets.
I quite enjoyed this video. Electric cars are fun to drive. No transmission lag. I think my next car will be an electric car but that will not be for a while. I cannot justify spending $28,000-$50,000 on an EV when I have a few year old compact car that is paid off, has less then 25,000 miles on it and still fully under warranty and suits all my needs. I get about 400 miles to the tank and I pay about $200-$250 per month in fuel. So even if I add maintenance (oil changes, filters services) to the amount I spend per year on gas, it still is cheaper to run my car then it would be for me to own an EV after I factor in the cost to buy it ($28,000- $50,000 buys a lot of gas and oil). But in the future an electric car is possible for me as I like them. A lot of folks don't realize that from 1900 to about 1916 electric vehicles were actually more popular then gas powered cars. They ran smoother and were more safer and reliable then the gas powered car. (if you think your Tesla rides smooth on the road, try a 1910 Detroit Electric). The gas cars were dangerous as if you gripped the hand crank wrong then you could break your wrists if it backfired and spun the crank the other way or get impaled if the crank came flying out. The end of that era of EV popularity came because better roads and the need for longer range, gas stations being everywhere and the electric starter.
What an awfull graphic in a such expensive car.I hope that you have checked finish on the.car.There problems with gaps between the fenders and the hood and all over the car, becausethere is sloppy assembly on some of the Teslas

Why would I replace the battery? They have a 10yr / 100k mile warranty. And who wants to keep a car for 15 years? It'll be obsolete and outdated lol.
Sorry man, but you're literally comparing a high class of car to a budget disposable car from 2007. No offence but these aren't even comparable.
