I got my 2024 in 2024 for 300 below msrp and it was an xl in my opinion the best package for price. My dealer also gave me free tint plus tire upgrades. I also went into the dealership and had them price match for the bed liner so i got that about 50% off.
I've talked to at least 8 or 9 dealerships in the past month, looking for a maverick. Not one was over MSRP. there was a couple that offered 500 off before I even started talking about price.
Love your videos brother, im not even into new cars i live by davis ramsey get the used and reliable, but love to see your business grow and can't wait to see how far your team goes.
Love how they say no money is made at invoice! Holdback and marking support are cooked in. Invoice does not = dealer cost. But of course Tomi has already mentioned that a few times on previous videos.
I’ve owned a 23 Mav Hybrid and currently have a 24 Mav Eco FX4. Great trucks that were actually worth buying at MSRP. Prices have gone up so much in 3 years that there is no way I would pay sticker for a Maverick now. Don’t care what trim it is.
When people defend car dealers and their shady tactics, often times I'll hear them say, "Well, if they're willing to pay it, then what's so bad about it?" or something along those lines. If the customer is willing to overpay, "that's on them". Imagine if you replaced the car in this scenario with a necessary medication. "Well if the people are willing to pay over triple for their dialysis medication, then why wouldn't we sell it at that price?". You wouldn't defend a pharmaceutical company and it's pharmacy sales reps if they were ripping off your sweet old grandma for her life saving meds with bad insurance deals. So then, why would you defend a car company and it's sales representatives for ripping you off "because they can", or "because people will pay it". Car dealers need to be held more morally accountable for trying to rip people off and gouge their wallets by the mainstream masses. Most people are either oblivious to being ripped off, or they have this weird defense of, "well people pay it so it's all good they're ripping you off."
@@percivalgooglyeyes6178 Right, that's my point. We're in agreement here. I was saying - if it's immoral for this to be going on with medications and such, it's immoral for car dealers to rip you off in the same way. They should at the very least be morally held accountable for their actions.
9:50 this guy does not know his mavericks - 2025 has new front end and the standard 8" with cubby hole is gone and now includes a full 13" display - that is huge and would be a deal breaker for me! i would be so mad if i was talked into a 24 lol
So In this video I didn’t see you negotiate a deal? I seen a couple dealers hold firm (1 clowning around) and you mention a different dealership that wasn’t involved but someway had a $300 discount, why not show that dealer in this video ?
They can't sell those little trucks where I'm from. I can send you a picture of a whole row sitting there. That are all 24. Yes. M Sr P $24 to $.25000.
The troll doesn’t even know how to pronounce Marin Ford, calling it “Marine Ford”. Anyone who lives in Marin County, is actually aware of the county - its home to Skywalker Ranch where George Lucas’ production company is housed among other successful businesses.
I think being a good "salesperson" as a buyer is what makes getting a good car deal on your own possible. You have to be able to sell the price you think is right. That means knowing what is a "fair market price" and understanding the if's, and's and but's they throw out. If they wouldn't have overhyped the Maverick as a $25,000 truck from the start, they might be able to sell it at the ridiculous prices they want today.

Ford…. “ Let’s build an inexpensive truck so people will buy it”
Ford dealers…… “ Let’s charge thousands over MSRP so people won’t buy it “ 🤪
Oh god, Lee Iacocca talked about he hated when dealers did that. When he was a sales manager, he would come up with a promotion…
State is engulfed in flames right now.... we have a SMOKING DEAL lmao
That was a great line
The appeal of the maverick is how cheap it is. I dont understand anyone paying over MSRP.
This! The appeal of the Maverick drops with every trim level you go up in.
Over MSRP plus most dealers I talk to still have normal rates for them around 8% ya right!
Yep! I lost all interest when the price jumped up after release and they realized it would be popular.
Literally one of the reasons makes no sense they did that dealer lol
MSRP and $2500 of dealer accessories. What a deal.
MSRP with $400 of actual dealer products and labor to install it all, but dealership charges $2,100 markup on it all.
I enjoyed negotiating my last purchase thanks to you! Thank you for your content!

"how are you doing?" "hey thank you so much"

Tomi "Mikula, M-I-K-U-L-A"
Sales person "Where's that name from?"
Tomi "My mom" LOLOLOL
My local dealer is $1500 under MSRP on 2024 Mavericks.
A free cup?!?! Oh yeh, that guy was teolling 😂😂
"Honestly you're trolling us" lmaoooooooooooo
How do you keep a straight face while doing this. I'm chuckling just watching.

I hate FORD, I had a 2022 Bronco Sport that came out to be the most unreliable vehicle I ever had being brand new.

They are definitely 2024s. The 25s are selling quickly, and a lot haven't even been shipped yet. But never over MSRP
the 24's have a recall with back up cam and dealers aren't allowed to sell new 24's at the moment
Hope you hire an editor soon. Atrocious cliff hanger and the subtitles were off

Tomi has a buyer that will pay $40K cash on a Maverick??? WTF, If I had $40K I'd be putting a down on a Lambo!
Are you stupid
Should just burn that cash for heat at that point.
"legit stuff" ... load of shit
Never heard any dealer commit to the under invoice price, assume you were using this as bait to troll the poor dealers you called.
They do, if they need to hit a quota or can sell stuff in the finance office or make money on the back end. Happens all the time
@@JohnDoe-np3xd You misunderstood my comment - in the video there was no conversation with a dealer where we heard him commit to that price.
