As someone who has been through most of these versions (other than Mobile and 360) I have to say this is really accurate. I have played the the OG Xbox version (on CRT) as recently as February after I played the Switch version post it's final update. As some added notes for KOTOR 1 (and 2) for CRTs, It really depends on the type of CRT. If you have an older style of CRT (bubble) it looks really really good. Way better in many ways than a lot of the other versions. The FLAT CRT is also very good in it's own way, giving a very clear view of the screen where it looks less muddied, but some of those jaggies really show. If you want a clearer smooth experience go FLAT. If you want the "build in aliasing" of an older tube, go BUBBLE. As an additional aside, the Series X version does upscale very well if you have the TV for it, and it is Auto-HDR compatible and can give an extra bit of flair that is very nice to experience. Great video looking forward to the 2nd game. (currently playing it on OG Xbox right now before I jump in on Switch.)

I've played this across eeeevery platform. Grew up playing the 4-disc PC version which was a janky mess, but nostalgic as hell. Played it years later on 360, then Steam, mobile phone and just deleted my Switch version because it refuses to rendor certain armor textures and just makes them transparent. Veeeery frustrating. But I picked up the Xbox version on my Series S and I'm excited to dig into it soon.
I have it on the Xbox Series S and had no issues with it. Gameplay was smooth to me. The switch version when I had it was smooth at times but frame drops happened here and there.

it wasn't a visual comparison so much as it was what version is preferrable, the visuals played a minor role, the PC version simply IS the best of course, it runs the best, looks the best, plays the best. While the phone/mobile version *can* look better than the Switch version it comes at the cost of many things, the most major of which is the performance, if you were to install ALL of the mods that I had on my PC version (which is actually over 100 GB worth of mods including a few that I actually made for it myself) it would eat up the space on your phone really quick and absolutely TANK the performance, it is also HUGELY inconvenient to actually play, the touchscreen controls as I stated are semi-effective but only in small doses after awhile the controls do tend to make things difficult and I found myself getting frustrated at them, connecting a controller solves this but then it's no longer all that portable whereas the Switch has joycons attatched to it that can be carried around in a hard case with a handle or even shoulder strap and when you get back home you can dock it and continue to enjoy your experience with a Pro controller I'd give credence that it'd be able to place third, since I'm still somewhat unimpressed by the Xbox's backwards compatability versions for KOTOR 1 & 2, especially compared to other games on the backwards compat line

The controls, specially movement and targetting, gets a bit annoying at times, wish there was a mod to tab target instead of tapping the enemies and a mod to have the movement be on a stick instead of having to pan the camera to move. But because of the pause function it isn't really affecting combat so I'm just dealing with it. But for KOTOR 2 I'd say there are some really essential mods you'd like to have. Content restoring mods. So at least for KOTOR 2 I'm not playing anything other than PC or Mobile.
I love that Imperial march style music that plays at the end. What is it? Also I'm so happy to see Kotor 2 Robes in Kotor 1 since they are way way better than the Kotor 1 Robes

I play this on my new 4k oled tv hooked up to my series x, and it auto enables dolby vision, absolutely transformed this old game. Also have it on switch for portable play sometimes.
PC and Original Xbox .... IMHO Xbox has gone downhill on Star Wars since 360 ... KOTOR 1 and 2 .... You can literally build your own stuff and put a version of Anakin in it ... Just don't look like him .... I always tried to Stay a Grey Jedi ... At the end of the storyline
Humm , the pc version is pretty much trash, as it NEED to be modded to be playable and it can crash quite a lot. No controller support either. The switch version is bugged to death with character speaking in english randomly even if you play other language and on top of that some texture won't load at all and the game can crash. Original Xbox and Series X version are clearly superior but they lack 16/9 aspect ratio IMO.
Literally zero of what you said is true about the PC version, the PC version actually runs fine without mods mods just allow you to have a 16:9 aspect ratio and clean up bugs present in all versions of the game at the very base level you can mod it further to make it look as good as I did but you don't HAVE to, and who gives a damn about controller support the games were made to play with a m/k combo it had to be retrofitted to work with the Xbox and a controller, idk about other languages on the switch version since I play in english but your take is a massive L

I only wish they complete Kotor 2. Even with the add-ons it feels very unpolished, especially the ending.
The mobile version is surprisingly good especially for when it came out. I first beat kotor on mobile

Played this on Series X with the Duke controller, was awesome. I also grabbed the Switch one for cheap during the May 4th nice port indeed.

Backwards compatibility without a dedicated port is always a little sketchy.
The mobile version can also be modded with the same mods you use for the PC version so for me mobile version places second.
