When I was a little kid, out neighbors who live a couple doors from us had couple of dogs. A beautiful Collie named honey and a handsome German Shepard, Shep who was a former police dog. Each time I saw Shep, he would raise his paw for a hand shake without fail. He was my friend. Shep was so nice to us little kids.
I just down my GSD 3 days ago. I have not cried that hard in years. I am blessed that I had my Rocky for 14 years. He was our family member and he was showered with love until the minute he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We still have my other GSD named Scout. Just wonderful animals. The only breed I will ever own.
I’m learning that about my 1 year old I thought she was going to b like the my 16 yr old who went over the rainbow last year she was incredible and east to train.
Owning a gsd is a thrill a minute. I swear, mine can read my mind and knows what I'm thinking before I do! Sometimes it's aggravating and sometimes it's cool because we work in sync and I never have to tell him what we're gonna do. He's the best and a little spooky 👻 sometimes, Ha! 😁

GSDs are the only dogs I will ever own. Sorry for your loss. It's hard losing a family member.
