It's amazing how many "pet surrenders" you get. Makes me think maybe getting a pet fox isn't a good idea, you guys. 😂
Foxes are very high maintenance pets. They WILL pee on everything you own if they get a chance. They need a lot of space to roam; you can see that at SaF where they do have pens but need regular yard time. And if not mentally and physically engaged they can get destructive. Despite a lot of effort going in to breeding 'pet foxes', they are still very wild animals at heart and that's just another thing you'll have to mind.
I do not fault people for wanting a pet fox because to be fair, they are also adorable. And I do actually praise the people who have gotten a pet fox, discovered they can not properly care for one and voluntarily surrender them to somewhere they can have a much MUCH better life. That is being a proper responsible person.
@@TarossBlackburn The absolute best thing to do, though, is to actually do your research /before/ getting one though. Giving it up when you can't care for them is second best. Not getting one in the first place unless absolutely certain you have the resources for it is best.
