007 Edale & Mam Tor, Derbyshire - Drone fly over

Even though I've been out a lot with the drone this week success has been limited because of weather/technical issues. Locations have included Bollington, Macclesfield Forest and Edale. Because of the amazing weather today I've edited the Edale stuff first. This video features Edale, Jacob's Ladder, Kinder Scout and Mam Tor.
Getting lots of drone stories to tell now so I will be doing a review video of the DJI Phantom 4 where I explain all.

Great footage of an area I know well - having at one time lived in Glossopdale for 25 years :) At full screen resolution it looks as though you shot that footage in 4K? Comes out really well. A shame about the props obscuring the footage on part of the video - I guess it might have been pretty windy up there. Keep up the good work, thanks for the share.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I usually film in 4k to get the most detail. I've found that sometimes, when flying into the direction of the sun you get that annoying effect where the props interfere with the light. One tip is to try the same shot but flying backwards, which seems to eliminate the issue.

would it be okay if i use some of this drone footage in college project that i can upload to youtube and i will add i direct linnk to your youtube channel at the end of the video it is for a clothing company but wont be on any websites only on youtube to show the college tutor kind regards cameron slack

Thanks Mark. Yes a shame about the props but I’ve learnt many ways to avoid this since this flight in 2016. Perhaps time for a return visit to Edale?
