- Welcome back! In this episode we attempt to modify the oil system in the 1JZ with some much needed upgrades and we end up finding some surprises in the oil pan which complicate things quite a bit!

Getting that oil pump is it an overall must do ? Or will a regular oil pump suffice?
Depends what you are planning to do with your engine/car. New oil pump is always a high recommendation on a refresh. If you plan to race the engine and hang the rpms high (drifting/road racing) then it is a good idea to have an upgraded pump that can withstand the abuse.
Damn it Luke I guess I’m buying this baffle too hahah where’d you end up buying the baffle from? Could only find some eBay sellers

Can I still run an oil cooler and A/C with high rev na-t pump
GS pump isn't as high flowing as a GTS one
@@LukePakula I meant cause I’m doing an NA-T engine build but would love to keep a/c lol
@@itsreallytheo yeah you can keep your ac pump. You can put a sandwich plate on the oil filter and run lines for the oil cooler from there.
