Did you heard about emulator that all4swap selling they say when you do a manual swap the vvti don’t work as it should they are selling emulator to let the vvti work properly I wanna know if it’s worth it or if there is anyone try it ?
I only did this video for a laugh mate, the engines long gone. I didnt expect it to be this popular, i found i was using a different ecu to every other uploaded video so i made this ecu version to help others.
I dont know the exact answer to that but the immobilised ecu gets a signal from the ignition switch module. Id google the hell out of it cos someone will have done it before.
Edit: the 1jzs gone in the 2 door out the back. The white 4 doors got a 1600 toyota engine in it. I bought an sr20 to go in it but the seller fucked me over on the paperwork so it wont be legit, ie i couldnt tax it or sell it.

I'd say it would most likely be the answer to your issue, those immobiliser ecu's are a nutcase to get working with key ignition etc anyway

I got 1 by googling 2jz ecu wiring. There was nothing for 1jz that matched my 1jz ecu. Or theres that mess @4:00 :)
