I wanted to revisit this video to say thank you for sharing your expertise. I got my first high-paying visual merchandising gig. I got a 4 year degree in fashion merchandising, but had been struggling with breaking into the industry. Your job hunting and interview tips helped tremendously!!!
There are very few videos about visual merchandising on youtube,,,, and you share so useful information about the same for all of the aspirants...thank u for sharing..
Thank you for this video! I'm 48 years old. I don't have a degree and I don't have a ton of time for school. I love fashion and I want to do this as a career and it's taken me this long to finally figure it out! I currently work remotely for a fashion house because I knew I needed some experience with fashion/retail. I watched your certificate videos and they were GREAT!!! I've been apprehensive about certificates because I thought that companies didn't value them. Thank you for clearing that up for me. I'm def going to get the books. Thank you again for what you're doing for those of us who are interested in this field. Many blessings to you!💜
Thanks so for this video! I’m looking into Visual Merchandising. I totally had taken the Fashion Industry Essentials course a few years ago and totally forgot about it 🤦♀️ . (I’m in a whole different industry , but now trying to pursue my passion in fashion ) . Your tips were helpful , thanks again !
i’ve been working in retail for a year and half and made my way up to manager in training to merchandiser! it’s all about taking those chances and opportunities.
I am so thankful that you made this video and I came across it today. I've been wrestling with what I want to do as a career and this is something I've been wanting to do for a while, but I've been hesitant because most job openings require a bachelor's degree. I'll be looking into those books because they seem very interesting, and I would also like to receive my certificate aswell. Once again, thank you so much, Chloe. Your video has given me hope!
Yay I'm so glad you liked it!! It can be so intimidating when so many job opportunities require degrees. My VM position originally required a Bachelor's, but I was lucky enough to still get the position! Opportunities are out there, don't give up! 😊
I'm so interested in your channel I really love to purchase those books but unfortunately they cant able to deliver in my current place right now. I really love to learn more about visual merchandising.
I have a passion in design, have over 2 decades experience in retail most of which I spent in visual merchandising and designing now I m in a totally different trade I would like to retrace my design passion any help, thank you in advance I'm in london
For anyone wondering, I did a quick google search and it seems it's about $999. I did not apply and hear directly from them so i can't confirm but just putting that out there.
The smaller book is available as an ebook, but unfortunately the textbook like books is not :( I linked them here: Store Design and Visual Merchandising: amzn.to/3b6569KVisual Merchandising- Windows and In Store Display: amzn.to/3sCCcUA

Many does only require experience. I was offered recently a VA job. It took me 10 years to land my 1st VA position.
This is so appreciated! Thank you for posting this❤

Do you think VM is a good transition into marketing?
It depends on what your interests! The idea behind both careers are relatively similar, but the practices are widely different.
Thank you ❤️
