If you're buying a 2.5 million dollar apt, you can do whatever you want with said apt. Even a dedicated room for your dolls.
but, maybe you are a lonely person and you don't want to be lonely so you find yourself a roommate to not be lonely.
I was thinking that as well, but then I thought of the youtuber houses that house a lot of young rich people and thought if it is someone young and rich buying this, maybe they do want a roommate lol.

lol a million gets you a 5 bd 3 bth regular home in Seattle you need to spend a lot more for a mansion
you cant really do a mansion or big housing in seattle. In Graham, Yelm, Yakima, etc, you can get away with it.
here in singapore, a million usd will simply get you a very basic condominium with sizes about 900 sq feet

Interior design is so interesting,
From the first Penthouse I liked the bedroom connected to a balcony from the first condo.
And the second one had really cool workspace and media room.
Both of them seemed to have toilet and basin seperated in the master bathrooms which I find odd and lack of storage for shampoo etc in the showerroom unless you gonna do future installations.
South tower Penthouse were so much more attractive for me.
In the end, thank you for the hard work putting this together! Well done.

Why get a penthouse if you could buy a bigger house outside of the city
Because you can walk to work, and you can rent it out or can sell it to a foreign investor easier.
Plus there is a front desk person for your packages and a bunch of other amenities.
Because you can hardly buy a livable house for 500k anywhere near seattle. Even the ho hum suburb I grew up in ~hour (more in traffic) outside of seattle my modest childhood home is near a mil now
You get to live near an earthquake zone.

i went and toured a penthouse in an older building in downtown seattle on 2nd ave and it was surprisingly way cooler than this newer penthouse - this one is obviously still cool tho!

Ok, so at first I wasn't totally sold on the first unit. The second bedroom and kitchen are just okay IMO (I really dislike the backsplash and the cabinetry - would def have to change those), but once I saw the master bedroom and bath, I was SOLD hahah.

I don't get why you would be upset with new developments. More developments mean more supply, which means that it should keep the prices more reasonable. If you get enough supply, you can even see prices dropping a lot.

Tbh if you wanna live in or near Seattle and don’t wanna pay 2.6 million dollars for a apartment with two rooms just move to Bellevue, Sammamish, Issaquah, or Redmond bc it’s pretty close to Seattle and you could get big houses for the same price or else like Bellevue has some rly nice and big houses and so do the rest
Not only would you pay an astronomical mortgage rate to own a spot like this, but you'd have to pay up on HOA fees ON TOP of that. Man oh man. Its a gorgeous spot though.
