In CSGO we have too many options to choose so people like me change it all the time! I got one that I play better than the other ones that I usually play with, if you're confortable with a crosshair, you're good to go :D

It could be good to mention what resolution you used in the description of the video as it does slightly affect the look of the crosshairs size/thickness.

I think that going through each of these changes came with an initial struggle, but they definitely made me a better player in the long run. For me, the smaller crosshair works. Colour can make a huge difference, even with the outline. The main reason the pink is hard to see at close range is because of the colour. I use a small (2.5 size, 0.5 thickness, 0 scale, -2 gap) white crosshair with outline and it's NEVER hard to see at 1920x1080 stretch. I even use an alpha value of 175 which actually helps with visibility.
i started cs:go with size 4 and gap -1 and after a couple years i reduced it to size 3.5 and gap -2. i've changed my sensitivity many times but the crosshair remained same all the time. that's the perfect one for me :)) not too big or not too small, medium like you said. also easy to see and comfortable with 1 taps, bursts and sprays(my sprays are going shit when i reduce it to size 3 or below)

i think the perfect crosshair is probably my crosshair if were talking what an overall rating would be some people like big crosshairs some like tiny some people like thick crosshairs others like skinny ive made mine a kinda in between of all of these except its kinda small but thats so it doesnt obscure your vision as much now im not saying everyone will play better with it than they do with their own but my crosshair basically ticks all the boxes its visible basically anywhere and on any color it has a semi-wide gap in the middle so you can see what youre shooting but the length of it is not too big for it to obscure your vision if you want my crosshair settings they are as follows crosshair length is 2 crosshair gap is -1 crosshair style is static crosshair outline is enabled with 1 pixel size the crosshair color is R255 G255 B255 (fully white) the only thing i think i would change on my crosshair to make it work for as many players as possible is to make it spread out when you spray so its easier to see where youre spraying since the crosshair is pretty small ofcourse my crosshair isnt perfect because the perfect crosshair depends on every person but it think this is a pretty good sweetspot
i would say that the pros that have big crosshairs are the ones that used to play 1.6 and source, where you couldn't make your crosshair as small and customized as in csgo
I like medium size but hair thin..... tho I can't find a colour I'm happy with.... I like blue but it's annoying lining up some smokes in the sky, so I end up with green usually.
I normally go for body shots when I'm playing with a rifle, More likely to miss the headshot and plus it's easier for my team to trade. Love the smaller crosshairs don't have to think as much on aim
if u have bad aim, a small crosshair will be much harder for you, so ofcourse u wont hit headshots. Use bigger crosshair until you learn crosshair placement for headshots, then a smaller crosshair will eventually be good when u know how to aim

I can't play with small cross. It really hurts my eyes. I play with medium size and the result is so amazing. Just practice your cross placement and ur hs rate will increase. This is just my personal reference

My Advice: I sometimes change the color of the crosshair with key binds because it kinda refreshes my aim and reflexes without using a new crosshair
