Congrats. I made some guest appearances in the video. I was in the orange coat at the finish greeting my friend who made it in. And I was at one of the aid stations in the yellow shoes yellow shirt toward the beginning of the video
@@MountTinMan since you’re familiar with Umpstead park, I would love to go for a run with you sometime in the near future. I have my first 50-miler race on January 20th and would love to drive up there to do a long run with you. But with the holidays I understand if you can’t.
@@latebloomerrunner I’d love to! My wife is going out of town for the holidays and I’ve got the week off so I’ll have plenty of time. I am pretty out of shape right now so it won’t be fast but if you’re ok with that send me an email at adrienfcooper@gmail.com and we can try make it happen!
Nice job again. I know that was a rough one. Not your typical post run wrap outro either. Ha! I suppose given the issues you had on export you were just ready to get it uploaded.
Thanks Matt! You crushed this race! 💪🏼 Yeah, this race was cursed for me from the beginning, from the training to the race to the wrecked electronics (fried a camera monitor/battery and a charger in the rain) to the processing of this video. I essentially had to upload a previous unfinished draft because the software kept crashing. Despite everything I enjoyed the experience but I’m definitely ready to move on! 🤣
@@MountTinMan thx. Yeah you surely had your obstacles. Man that sucks about your camera. I guess they are only waterproof if you can keep everything dry when switching components like batteries. I definitely prefer the smaller local races. While I’m met some cool ppl there, it was way overcrowded.

Nice! Thank you! It was definitely an adventure out there. Glad your friend was able to get it done!
Ha I think everyone got their butts kicked that year, BUT that's why we do it! Good work grinding it out!
Thanks Wayne! Just watched your video as well, that race was a beast!
Thanks for sharing your experience Adrian! I’m always looking forward to seeing your videos!
Thank you so much! I should be back on my weekly schedule from now on. Thank you so much for watching and for your encouragement!
