It's butt ugly, you can't alter the stem length, and if it's as reliable as their cars it will be in the repair shop more than you have it.
I've a hardtail emtb and damn love it I've the specalized turbo tero 3.0 I've changed the shitty suntour forks for some rockshox which as lost almost 2lb of weight off the front
Mondraker Thundra hardtail….. zero complaints.

🇨🇦Steve needs to try a hard tail e-bike , I have the Marin Nail Trail and a Marin Alpine Trial E-2 full suspension I like them both and they both get ridden regularly. The hard tail is great fun and somehow feels sportier. You do have to be a little tougher to ride a hard tail, there’s a lot more standing on the pedals.
Handle bars always need to be swappable. We all have different angled wrists and the wrong back sweep can lead to nerve damage or shorter sustained rides before hands go numb. Handle bar sweep isnt about the biking segment its about the rider and that back sweep should be on all their bikes same with bar width.

Most bikes I buy I have to slightly alter the stem bar set up to get it to feel right , I look at that mclaren and it instantly looks low in the bars without getting on it
Yup, I've a hardtail, a Specialized Tero 4 and it's great for me when using trails rather than full-on stuff. It can be a hard bum ride and my plan is to upgrade it with a PNW Coast Suspension Dropper for £188, 60mm travel, not great, but I've had good reports on how even that little helps ease the way.
Guys - That Trek Rail had a water bottle on it, not a range extender. I have a Rail and that spot is for the bottle. The battery for these bikes are huge and don't need any more extenders.
The good thing with the McLaren is that it qualifies you for instant trash talking on the trail when riding it, by everybody on the trail
Transition Relay battery comes out and you can push it around with out the battery. Being done already

250 watt mid-drive is pedestrian. Biktrix Juggernaut is a beast with a 2300 watt motor and a dual chain drive train.
250w is the limit for Class-1 Pedal Assist bikes... higher than that and you are limited as to where you can legally ride them.

Very expensive with low spec. Battery is too small too, especially if they're saying it's that powerful. It's a bike for popstars to pose on.
My 2,400 dollar bike has 131 NM torque, 648 w battery 70 mile range.
what about FREY bikes
You see, this is my point. The McLaren car is not restricted to 15.5mph and pretty quick compared to your average Corsa, that makes it a SUPERCAR, but it doesn't matter who manufactures the bike or how much power it has, it's still limited to 15.5mph (in EU & UK) assist. So it's down to components and frame geometry. As components are from specific manufacturers mostly, then why is it a superbike? It's just another one with a carbon frame
I need a new emtb it's not gonna be a mc laren they are totally out of touch with that attempt but maybe people who has a McLaren car and just wants a bike that kinda matches the car will buy it..that vespa style handlebar was a bit to much 😂

Hi it's not a range extender on my trek rail in the bike vault , it's a tool case . Medium rail doesn't have room for a full size water bottle so I just store my essentials there instead

So it's a multitool 2co2s with inflator moneybag full of old split links lol tubeless repair kit zip ties cafe money and keys. It's like a round pencil case but obs for bike bottle cages
Any bike with a Bafang Ultra / m620 puts out 1500W, 160nm at 48v/51v.
As an owner of such a bike (luna z1), its overkill because they do a poor job at programming the power output for technical climbs and it RUNS through battery. A 120 nM bike with the tuning of one of the other big brands would be amazing.
@@sety409 Couldn't disagree more.....my Exess w/Ultra & Innotrace (2300w/200+Nm) is AMAZINGLY smooth & progressive. Your problem is with the Luna controller, not too much power (whatever that is). I can easily ride 30+ miles in Sport 4 with a 52v/21Ah battery..what more do you need?
@@sety409 as a matter of fact I too have a Z1. The first thing I did was buy an eggrider and tune it myself! The second thing I did was buy AXS wireless across the board. Its still heavy but battery has never been a problem!
@@sety409hell I even turn down my 80nm bike for technical climbing. I usually drop it too eco plus or trail.
I also have a bbs02 kit with 25ah battery on my Marin hawkhill 2, cost £1500 including the bike which can out perform any ebike!

Don’t tow bars have a max load of 50-70kg. How do the bike racks carry 6 emtb’s?

Yes, but they are designed for towing, not vertical loads. Most tow hitches on cars have a max vertical load of 50-70kg. 6 e-bikes at 25kg each is 150kg. Doesn’t work.
Judging by the size of the rack it may be intended for something bigger than a car, the max load capacity on tow bars and hitches is usually based on the nose weight of the vehicle. So the bigger the vehicle the more you can carry 🤘 They will probably have something written saying not to exceed your vehicle/hitches max load. But we imagine you don't want to drive down a bumpy road with it maxed out!
A 820 w motor is unnecessary. Stay in your lane McLaren 🏎️
So it's got the same power as a stock bafang m600 e-bike which is one of their weaker motors. Not to mention truck run has a motor that makes 220 Nice bike but not that impressive
