OMG!!! I have been going nuts trying to get to the dealership to get my fob fixed. When I purchased the car no one knew how to get it to start remotely. They said it was some issue with Infiniti and I needed to go the manufacturer. Turns out I was just not locking the car first. Crazy!!! Thank you so much!
My mother in law just got this car as a rental and this was very helpful for her so she can start it from her bedroom window in the morning before work, especially with it being wintertime. Thank you for this very simple demonstration

@@Aslanboi8 -50C is where gasoline gets a little thick. -70C is the actual freezing point. My city has been known to reach -60. It's great.... So great.
I’m not familiar with a Nissan patrol, although I believe it is similar to the Nissan Armada in America, in which case you need to go to a dealership where they will program a key
That will start it but every time I get in the car and press the ignition button it turns off. Every single time, I’m like why remote start if you have to the turn off . I have no clue what I’m doing wrong - pressing the brake first and still shuts off. Horrible
@@JasonGillett update : it’s an OEM key that we have in the French Nissan cars (the Ariya has new key I believe ?) idk abt USA you guys have 14 models more than us
I literally just found out i could do this a few hours ago through pop a lock, but when he got back in the car and pushed the brake my car turned back off and didn't crank back up😢

This works with this style of Nissan, we are in Canada so I am not sure if you are in a different country but on the Nissan's here it is just one click. I worked for Nissan for 16 years.

I got my Nissan kicks 2 months ago and had no idea what the round arrow was and started research and had no idea it had remote start. Very happy now

You are totally correct they really don’t care about our cold weather
Better off getting an aftermarket instal, they work great and can be adjusted to run for 30 minuets.

Hey Wendy, if it doesn’t have that button then you most likely do not have command start on your vehicle
That's not a "back" button. It's an actual remote start that's turning the ignition on.
