Thank you doctor! We were ready to tear our hair out trying to pair these to a new smart phone. Your instructions walked us through it step by step.
We're so glad you found this video helpful! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thank you for this instruction video.
Yes! Thank you so much! 🎉❤
Absolutely!
Thank you! I couldn’t get all three connections back on my Bluetooth display.
Thank you! This is a better video than the company FAQ. I was ready to tear my hair out. Thank you!!
We're so happy you found this helpful!
App has been updated and does not have the already connected option anymore (none US install) our hearing aids will not connect no matter what we try ….
You're a life saver! Thank you
Different my doctor told me to pair mine while still in the charging case. Well either way works.
Thanks...very helpful
interesting video Allison Audiology & Hearing Aid Center P.C.. I killed that thumbs up on your video. Keep up the high-quality work.
Oh thank you so much for liking our video and commenting! We base our videos on patient requests, so if you have ideas and we can do them, we'll certainly make them happen.
@@allisonaudiology no problem at all. always happy to support my fellow content creators. i am looking forward to improving on my own current video format i have uploaded and, in the future, trying to create content as good as yours in the long term.
Thank you for your excellent video. My husband has my phonak Audeo M 90 R model hearing aids. The issue that he has is when another bluetooth device is on - for example a bluetooth speaker- the content will pair to his hearing aids as he walks by or is in the room. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Other bluetooth devices are constantly connecting to his hearing aids without him doing anything. It can be very frustrating for him. If he leaves the room and someone has called on his iphone, the call will switch to his hearing aids. Is there any way to get this to stop? Thanks so so much.
How is my husband able to follow you when he can't see you? Remember you are talking to someone who can't hear you unless they see you. Also, he hears nothing when the hearing aids are not in use. Or did you mean for someone else to do it??
Good evening. We are sorry to hear there is difficulty with the video. We felt showing the screen only would be helpful so there was less distraction on the screen. This way, everyone can see where to click. The captions are also available as well.
I'm trying to connect my hearing aids through to my computer to listen to spotify and i really need help
Very helpful, thanks so much!
Wonderful! Thank you!
I can connect to bluetooth but, since app updated, I no longer have connection to my phone. I have tried repairing...still no. I REALLY liked that feature. Can you help?
Hi Kay! Hopefully you'll be reconnected soon. With recent updates, we've seen an increase in dropped connectivity, so you are not alone. The first thing to do is make sure your aids are updated. If you're unsure, you may want to contact your hearing care provider. If they are, you'll want to disconnect the aids from your phone, delete the app, re-install the app, then re-pair. I know this is a lot of steps and we all feel your same frustrations. Hopefully these glitches will be fixed soon. If all this still doesn't work, you'll want to contact your provider and see if something else is going on. Hopefully this will help though. Dr. Austin.
Good morning. How can I adjust my Phonak M30-r when receiving a phone there’s to much static doing the calls?
Good evening, it depends on a few factors. To best troubleshoot, a visit to your hearing care provider is recommended.
How can I set my iPhone not to ring in my hearing aids and still use the other functions available?
Hi, with most hearing aids you can go to settings -> accessibility -> hearing devices->slide play ringtones to "off." If that doesn't work, you may contact your hearing provider or reach out to the consumer Phonak line at 1-800-679-4871.
Thanks
Love from Lahore Pakistan
We're happy to help!
I am helping my 91yo grandpa with his. Every time we try to adjust the hearing aids and save the setting (android phone), it comes up with a connection error. I did everything it said to do to stop the error but it still comes back. Any ideas?
With recent updates, you may want to check the phone compatibility guide found here: www.phonak.com/en-int/support/compatibility
My Bluetooth keeps cutting out on my Android phone. Could it be because my phone is on the old side? I need Bluetooth to talk to my hearing aids so I can answer calls etc
It could be due to the phone, or it could be due to something with the hearing aids. We would recommend a visit with your hearing provider to determine if the issue is with the aids or on the phone side.
With my oppo reno 7 and phonak lumiere aids i have regularly in phone talk a disruptive noise and I need to end conversation while my mike seems t keep working whjle my mike is still working and partner hears me correctly Is t my android phone or something else?
Good evening, we're not entirely sure of the question. We would recommend contacting your hearing provider for the best solution.
I paired my laptop with my Phonak hearing aids and I| can hear well. I previously had different aids and used a lead and shoes to hear on my laptop without disturbing my husband at night. I thought the same thing would happen with the new aids but the volume is still on and not just going into my hearing aids. I wonder if you could help with this, I would be so grateful. Many thanks.
Good evening. You may need to forget the previous aids in the Bluetooth menu, if. you haven't already. Once the new aids are paired, you should be able to stream directly again. Hopefully this fixes the problem.
@drflo213 Thank you! I have paired them but unfortunately my husband can still hear my computer late at night. Is that normal or my expectations too high. I can now hear my phone directly so noo need to have the speaker on!
@@daisies4444 Typically you are able to split the audio, muting the source but still hearing it in your aids. I would take your computer and aids in to your hearing provider, as it could be a setting. You may also be able to reach out to Phonak directly for assistance.
@drflo213 Thank you !

How long do I need to hold press?
Depending on the setup of your aids, it could be a short press or a few seconds. It's best to consult with your hearing care provider to see what function is set up depending on the duration of the button hold.
I’ve only had my audeo 90s for a month and I absolutely hate them no matter what I do my calls are disconnected from my bluetooth and reconnects constantly even though the settings are set for bluetooth headset and not automatic it’s very frustrating to keep having my calls routed to speaker and why do you have to turn off all sounds which is crazy that’s the purpose of being able to hear smh at this point I rather not wear my hearing aids at all and Phonak company not any help at all because the problem still exists
We hate to hear you're not enjoying your hearing devices. Are there any updates that need to be done to the aids or the phone? Sometimes this fixes these kinds of glitches that can occur. If not, returning to your hearing provider for assistance is recommended. This way they can troubleshoot what could be happening and/or send the devices to Phonak for assessment.
How do I stop my Bluetooth hearing aids from connecting with my T V
This can depend on the tv settings, as the Phonak technology pairs with any traditional Bluetooth device. It may be best to contact Phonak directly on their consumer line for assistance for your specific tv at 1-800-679-4871
Do phonak hearing aids Always SUCK when connecting?
Sometimes Bluetooth connections can drive us all a little crazy at times. Hopefully you were able to get the issue resolved.
No problem connecting but big problem with it defaulting to Automatic program every time I pick up my Samsung S10. It changes to Automatic for about 5 sec then back to my selected program music. Glad I only have them on trial, giving them back.
I have the same problem with the iphone, they are stuck on bluetooth streaming. I have closed all the apps, nothing is playing, but when my phone switches on it is bluetooth streaming.
Good evening! With the recent software/firmware updates in the last few months, we've seen some glitchy things too. You may want to disconnect your aids from your iPhone. Without knowing what aids you have, this is either under the traditional Bluetooth screen or under the Hearing Devices tab->Hearing Aid Model is Displayed-> "Forget These Devices". Next, delete your app. Reinstall your app and then re-pair your aids to your phone. We have a number of pairing videos on our UA-cam page to assist wearers with pairing their devices to their phone. If this still doesn't fix the issue, reach out to your hearing care provider and check for a firmware update. Hopefully this helps!
That is a strange conundrum to have it go back to music each time. Hopefully this was fixed for you or you found technology your prefer over the devices you were trying.
The app can't seem to find the left hearing aid. What's strange is that while using the hearing aids to do other things on the device, like listen to video clips, I can hear sound coming from both of them. It seems like the regular Bluetooth connection on the device works. I've cleared the data and cache for the app, force-stopped it, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and tried after a full night of charging for the hearing aids. The only thing I ever see for the left hearing aid in the app is "Searching". Is there anything else I can try beyond the usual troubleshooting steps? Is there something about the hearing aids themselves that could be the problem?
From what you've described, the intermittent nature, we would recommend reaching out to you hearing care professional and possibly send them in for assessment. If they are streaming together, you should be able to see both connected in the app.
I too have this same problem, have you resolved it yet?
I got it to work by turning on the hearing aids exactly at the same time when pairing
@@gregneumaier6007thanks I was wondering how to do it
I took my hearing aids to the audiologist. She repaired them and all hearing aids were connected. Then two days later, only one was connected. This happens all the time. No matter what instructions there are, only the right will connect. I get a ringing noise when I'm talking on the phone. Also, no light goes on when I turn the hearing aids off before reconnecting them. Now I will have to go back to the audiologist and ask what the problem is I have the audio M.
It is so frustrating!!!
Thank you this worked😊
Fantastic! We're happy to help!
How to find lost hearing aid
Hello, you can see this in the app if you had it enabled. If you're not sure, we would recommend contacting your provider to see how your app was set up. We hope you find your missing aid(s).
Left Phonak hearing aid is muted reset doesn't work
Hi James! If you're not getting sound from an aid, first check your filters and domes. They may be clogged with even the smallest amount of wax that is not letting the sound in. To see how to change them, visit: ua-cam.com/video/2PhXBjdJtG8/v-deo.html. Hopefully this helps!
I did all that and one of them won't connect.
Hi John, if you've tried all these steps, I would make sure your hearing device that doesn't connect has enough power. Make sure it's charging or has a new battery. If that doesn't work, I would speak with your hearing provider. It could be something has negatively impacted the Bluetooth connection in that particular aid. We hope you get it working soon!
A can't download the app that a need f for my phone a got the song eccerson phone and won't let me download it
We're sorry you're having trouble with the app. It may be best to visit your hearing provider so they can help.
How can I set my iPhone not to ring in my aids?
When my phone rings it is loud in my ear and startles me. How do I stop this.
This can depend on your notification settings and volume of the notification. You'll want to check that area of your phone in the settings.
How can I choose whether I want to hear my phone ring in my aids or not?
@@howardmcmahan4028 there is a setting to turn it off .
I still cannot get mine to connect. Phone continues to say searching
keep pressing off and on (hearing aids) while trying to re-pairing to your app
We hope you were able to get the phone to connect. You'll also want to make sure your phone is up to date. If there are updates available, you'll want to install those. And same with your hearing aids. If there has been a firmware update, you'll want to install that as well. If you're unsure about the latest firmware update for your devices, you can contact your hearing care professional to see if you have the latest. It just a quick update if it's needed and should only take a few minutes.
If the phone is still searching, make sure your batteries are new or your aids have plenty of battery charge should they be rechargeable.
Hopefully these two suggestions will get you connected.
Keeps unpairing when I touch my glasses
It shouldn't be doing that. I would consult with your hearing care provider so they can take a look.
Phone won't even detect the aids. Pixel 4a 5g
Good evening, it is recommended to check the Phonak phone compatibility list.
I did that twice and the left would cut out and now both!
It could be a number of issues. It's best to return to your hearing care provider for assistance.

Right button or button on LEFT hearing aid. Or Both?
We're not sure exactly which part the question is for, but if you are trying to turn the aids off and on using the button, you'll do it for both aids. Press and hold the button on each aid, at the same time. We hope this helps!
@@allisonaudiology OK that’s what I needed to know.
Wasn’t sure if meant L button, R Button, or both simultaneously. Didn’t say.
My Bluetooth will only find one and mot the other ..
Mine still will not connect
If you're still having trouble, we'd recommend reaching out to your hearing care provider for in-office assistance.
@@allisonaudiology Okay thank you they got me fixed up
