@@rage8673 Nope, there is proper whip made of chain. The cracking sound from it is like sonic boom. Use to train and compete in wushu and Sanda. Nowadays just practice them for fitness. One of the most difficult weapon to master, eight sections, chain dart and chain whip.

The main advantage of nunchaku is that you can hide them in a gi or kimono. A stick the same length you have to hold, but obviously with modern clothing they don’t make much sense to carry around lol.
Another advantage is that it’s tricky to tell how much reach the nunchaku have, especially tucked under your arm. But yes I prefer a stick to the two, great video.
The Punch Professor had great videos on nunchaku.
