I’m an interior designer and new Etsy seller. We are calling this interior design trend: dark Americana for 2024. We’ve of course loved our whimsigoth and dark academia in the last few years, but this is a similarly-moody look with a kitschy twist.
Thank you so much for the heads up on these frames. I love the moody aesthetic and last month I painted my living room Cracked Pepper. My adult children thought that I had cracked my noggin, but once they seen it, they are now painting some of their rooms in the moody shades. I can’t wait to order some frames for myself and get busy adding these to Etsy. Again, thank you so much 😊
I don't usually write comments, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you Christina! 🙏 I've learned so much from you, and it's been a game-changer for my Etsy shop. Thanks to you, I've been able to really grow my digital prints on Etsy. Now, because I'm so inspired by your POD journey, I'm thinking about starting print on demand and offering my artwork as framed canvas art prints. Do you think I should add these to my current shop, or would you recommend creating a separate shop just for the framed canvas art? 🤔 I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this! 😊 Big hug from Germany!!
You are the best ever, thank you so much! I would keep it in the same shop if its the same artworks you already sell and you could offer listing that just says "upgrade to a physical print" or offer it as a variation to be printed to each listing :) Happy new years!
Thank you for this.. I am a Photographer trying to get in to this whole Esty things. I started off with goals of selling my art. im still to small to make a difference. But after watching this video i went to look at the print provider. The shipping may be high but i can tell you for sure its actually quiet amazing. Comparing it to prettify still way better price. What i really like is the sizes they offer Including custom sizes. That to me makes all the difference. Very excited to start working with them
This is fantastic... exactly what i was looking for. Thank you! I'm also trying to find some company that produces tableware eg porcelain plates, cups etc. Any ideas? So hard to find.
Thank you very much for this video! Do you think that if I sell the framed posters I should also offer a digital version or just the framed posters? what would you do ?
I wouldn't combine digital and POD products in a shop since they have different SEO. Etsy might get confused about who your target buyers are. Instead, I'd suggest adding an information card to your listings so that buyers can contact you to purchase the digital file.
Do you have to adjust the dpi on the midjourney download? That’s where I’m stuck. Is converting to 300 in photoshop sufficient or do I need to do something else?
You need to use an up scaler like Topaz AI or something like that. If you just drop in photoshop and put the DPI to 300 that won't keep the integrity of the image as you resize it.

I have found I need to be careful with the 'oil painting'. Midjourney would give me ones that had signatures on them. I didn't search google images to see if they had a match. I just didn't use them.
It's not really a signature. Just pull it into Photoshop, krita or even canva and you can remove it. IN PS I use the healing brush and it copes the elements and matches the area perfect!
Etsy will shut down your shop if your mock-up is not the same as the final product. I would be careful selecting a frame where the mockup is different.

This is great info! Thank you. But doesn't Print Seekers not charge you for printing the image? Or is it added to the frame...newbie question. Thanks!
@@ahha1834 the price of the frame is for the printing and the frame! :)
WOW@@c.u.online thank you!! This is what I needed for my niche. I appreciate you.
Hello! Did your samples come? Could you update about their quality? Thank you very much.

THANK YOU- I could not find the exact name for the trend and it was driving me bonkers
Finally! I am a moody photographer and maybe my images will come back into style, haha!

Besides the classic wood frame, photo frame light box is also a great idea, especially to sell on Etsy

Thank so much for yet another great idea!
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for all your advice and helping keep is up to date on what could be profitable for us 🤗
Great video as usual and this will be great for my popular TV art listings to offer a framed option.
Another gem video!! Would be willing to share the product review once you get them? 😊
Super informative video thanks so much.

@@c.u.online Many thanks for your quick answer, you confirm what I thought ..
Only issue to watch out for is that the print quality can be trash for larger sizes in the 3' + range. Partial solution is to use an AI upscaler
Do you have to adjust the dpi on the midjourney download? That’s where I’m stuck. Is converting to 300 in photoshop sufficient or do I need to do something else?
Yes, usually you do. There are lots of free upscalers to do this with.

so far I havent had signatures using the V6 version of midjrouney. You could also try using --no signature and seeing if that helps remove any

I made mockups using print seekers frames not sure if I can share the link here or not? - Stoly Studios
goodstuff!

Looks like shipping from Latvia?
Ant way to automate this process?...very time consuming..
