Why The Ford Mustang EcoBoost Convertible Is Worth Buying

- The 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is the more efficient but enjoyable Mustang engine that doesn't get nearly as much glory as its 5.0L stablemate. But it's the Mustang many fans choose who love the look and feel of the iconic muscle car, but don't want the expensive gas bill that comes with a heavy V8.
The Mustang Ecoboost is one of 2 engines available in the all new 7th generation version of the Ford Mustang, and it still packs enough power and exhaust notes to make it a fun ride. It is available in both a fastback hard top and all a classic convertible. In this review I focus specifically on the new Mustang Ecoboost powertrain and I do so while enjoying the top-down fun of their premium convertible trim level.

Love mine. The power is amazing for a 4 cylinder! Rides and runs fantastic! Big plus with the top down, conversions to the passenger and on the phone are normal.
Yes, a good point to mention re: having conversations with the top down. Thanks for commenting!
Excellent Video
Thank you!
Owned one. Great car for the summer! Great review!
Thanks! Having my press unit as a convertible was a pleasant surprise!
Should I buy ecoboost convertible or ecoboost premium convertible?
That really depends on what matters to you. Both offer the same drive performance, but the Premium offers more upgrades that result in a more refined ride. If you want better seats, electronics and similar, and the extra cost isn't an issue - go for the Premium. If you aren't bothered by "frills" or extras, then just stick the basic.
There isn't a right answer across the board. It depends on your priorities and preferences.
I would rather to buy BMW or Mercedes because it’s still American, weak road performance. Good review though.
Thanks! And thankfully nobody is forcing you to buy the Mustang if you really prefer the German options. :)
