Those used to be called a Outback Kargoroo . I bought one 15 years ago new the side ramp door was only 4ft.wide and wouldn't fit a four wheeler. You are correct about the toy adding tongue weight so you definitely want to upgrade the hitch but they did tow well with the extra tongue weight . Mine had the rear slide out and so glad they stopped making the rear slide because if your camper was leaning downhill just even the smallest bit they all leaked even brand new and Keystone wouldn't warranty it because they couldn't fix the design flaw. After 3 years floor went soft from water coming in the rear slide. Fixed it myself and discovered the factory floor was so flimsy with nothing but 1/4" OSB and linoleum because all Keystone cared about was keeping cost and weight down . I don't know about now but they built them to last the warranty period and didn't care about how long the camper lasted after that. I sold it and since then been driving motor homes and hauling fifth wheels. My advice is lightweight means poor quality that doesn't last. Always go heavy with a towable.
If that upper bunk gave way from too much weight, the person in the lower bunk could literally get killed. Good God!! I wouldn't let anyone use them. I'd take them out and replace with a sofa bed. Then you've got a nice lounge area. The kitchen is fantastic! I love that it has a microwave and an oven. This is a kitchen for someone who actually cooks.
Love that you toured one of these! We actually have a 2019 version of this, and love it. Hubby loads up his Harley in there - parks a little sideways. We pull it with a Ford F-350 diesel dually. We’ve taken it all over the place. Love the flexibility of garage or bunk room, the huge bedroom and king bed, two exterior doors, and ours has 2 A/C units. Oh - and we use the fireplace ALL THE TIME!!! Also - he is 6’4”, and he doesn’t have to duck walking through it, and the shower is tall enough for him. Wish it had a dedicated pantry, and the counter space is lacking, but we use the wardrobe outside of the bathroom for pantry space (added hanging soft drawers), and we got a small kitchen cart for extra counter space. There’s a 342 (something) now that has the pantry, and has wider doorways for wheelchair access. I think that’s awesome!
This is one of my favorite floor plans and it just looks great I wish they would come up with longer version of this floor plan with 3 axle and 2 bedrooms that would look little bit better comparison to 5th wheel travel trailers out there in market.
Alliance offers an additional side patio on one of its toy haulers, it would a small modification for keystone to make its side ramp to double as a side patio🤔
Would like to have the bunks to have a greater weight limit. Especially for the bottom bunk. Maybe they could put the tv on a swing out arm. Nice sink. One piece sinks are good especially for pots.
Likes: storage space, king sized bed, garage up front. I also like that the hook ups are not under a slide and are enclosed. Dislikes: garage is small, 9 foot long bike won’t fit in it, not a lot of counter space in kitchen, bunks low weight limit.
Three things I don’t like...the weight limit on the bunks, for the price where are the TVs, and I think it needs a little patio for that ramp. Three things I like about it....I like the kitchen area, I like that wood on the doors in the bedroom area and the dump station is in an ok place.
Hi Matt and Will! I like this travel trailer hauler. Very nice bedroom nice shower. Vey nice except the stairs for outside. Other that it’s very nice. Thank you Matt and Will.
The 3 things I like about this travel trailer: 1. the 2 entry doors 2. no carpet 3. the multi uses of the garage The 3 things I don't like about this travel trailer: 1. the 150# capacity of the bottom bunk in the garage combo with the valance in the garage 2. no solid entry steps combo with no 2nd A/C installed 3. the TV placement
I dislike the low weight on the bunks, the TV position and, those steps. I love the bunk room and the ramp, the tanish/grayish farmhouse cabinets and the subway tile back splash.
This TTTH is almost perfect ... that entertainment center is a bummer... neck wrecker TV... I can live with it though... would love to see this decked out with 2 solar panels and a 12v refer...
Why not make the ramp also be a patio??? being on the camp side I can see the issues one may have about room and clearance, but having a patio on the camp side would be amazing!
We love ours, live full time in it! Took the bottom bunk out, queen air mattress fits great in the room when needed for extra guests. Garage is our office for now. TV swivels out which makes viewing much easier on the neck!. Did have to add that second AC though, just too big for one.
I'd like to see a motorhome with a small toy hauler space like this where you can ride a small motorcycle up into the vehicle itself without it costing a fortune and being a mile long.
I think the garage/storage door should be convertible in to a deck though. I would swap the loveseat for swivel recliners, & definitely change out the cheap entry stairs. Nice overall
😊Awesome, a ramp!/You looked soooo comfortable in those seats!!/nice gathering area and subway tile/😏The outside design could have been blended in more/one AC. and very low black tank/The ducts again.
Hello, love the countertops, cabinet color, love the garage, shower. Love that bedroom! Don't like that dog kennel, don't like the bunk weight, don't like one AC. Should come with 2. Great review Matt and Will!👍👍❤❤
I really like a lot of what this unit offers. It has a lot going for it. Before I give you my 3's. ..did you see the guy photobombing you at the very start of the video?? Lol Not the guy driving the loader; there was a guy walking around from Gen RV. Made me chuckle. Anyway... My 3's: Dislikes: I don't like the theaters seats and TV placement. 2. Should already have the 2nd AC. 3. Bathroom is very small for the size of the TT. Likes: 1. Bedroom, except for the dig thing (which sucks). 2. Like the garage and bunk area. 3. Nice color scheme and I like the door on the bedroom.
The roof looked really weird, like the top wasn’t stretched over the cross members or something. Is that normal? Actually a pretty cool trailer to carry your stuff. Living room not bad, wonder if the TV swings out. Missnig... LOL. Great catch..
Likes: 1. Big ol' TV 2. I like that kitchen 3. Shower is nice and big / king size bed and the double doors Dislikes: 1. Probably don't need a toy hauler combo'd with only 1 a/c 2. I'm gonna hurt my neck lookin at the Big Ol' TV 3. Those dark colors inside that toy hauler combo'd with that table can't play quarters on a table like that
Love this floor plan I'd remove the bunks and make an office/sewing room. Likes: flexibility of that garage to serve any number of uses, nice bedroom in the back, white kitchen counters. Dislikes: the colors are Barfy Brown Supreme...ewww, theater seats awkward considering where TV is, that "barn" design on the doors is literally one of the ugliest things I've ever seen in an RV.
PLEASE do some small towables. I LOVE your reviews and your knowledge but I, like many, am in the market for something modern and under 21 feet and under 5000 lbs. I know it's hard to get these to review but please try to do some. Particularly Intech, small Lance and Nucamp models. Why do so many travel trailers still look like they jumped out of 1970? We want modern! Personally I'd like to see you do a comparison of Nucamp vs Little Guy.
Would love to see trailers made in the USA built more like Australian trailers. Much better construction and suspension. Stove with propane and electric burners. Many other features I don't see on our RVs.
So the tongue weight is affected by what you put up front... but it is a cargo area so if you're hauling gear it will *significantly* add to this, I don't know how many people would actually factor this in
Dislikes: 150 lbs bunk. Come on! Should be at least 250 lbs No patio over the garage door. Missed opportunity Cable slide Not enough kitchen storage. Likes Love the side garage door and different layout The bedroom is very large and storage No carpet on slide
3 Likes: 1: Spacious front garage area with ramp door 2: Rear bedroom with king bed, good storage and closet space, and private exterior door 3: Decent kitchen 3 Dislikes: 1: Both bunks only hold 150 pounds 2: Only one A/C unit 3: Bad TV placement and viewing angles
LIKES: 1. Ramp Door 2. Prep for Solar 3. Kitchen & Master Bedroom DISLIKES: 1. Entry Steps 2. Living Area - TV placement 3. Dinette Table (don’t like the “distressed” look) Question: why is there antifreeze inside the shower? I know what antifreeze is for, but why inside the shower?
Definitely different layout. Kitty hideout is good. Don't like the colors or outside steps or a/c placement. Bunks aren't worth having. Needs a proper shade for the window in there. Where's the fuel tank? Is there storage in the dinette seating? I sure wouldn't buy this one at all.
I actually think they spelled “something is missing” incorrectly on purpose to make their point? Likes: Really like that side garage ramp. Like the layout in the bedroom and all the windows. Like that extra door to the outside, especially for emergencies. Dislikes: Odd pattern on the bedroom door - like it’s blocked off with police tape! Weight limit in bunks is not good. Old style steps gotta go.
I’m looking for a half-time towable toy hauler, kind of specific though. My side-by-side is 78 inches tall, 60 inches wide, 114 inches long. There anything out there that would work for me?
150lb bunks? Might as well just ditch those if you're not accommodating only small children.. If someone really wants a bunk there, they should just get a better bunk for the space. Tv's in a terrible spot for the seating, so probably should either move that or drop it all together. Might could do like a projector TV aimed at a pull-down screen in front of the theater seating. That'd be kinda cool, but the AC's kinda in the way. I'd have to engineer up a solution for that, but it should be doable That microwave label is hilarious. As for a 3rd dislike, the lack of an awning on the second door seems a bit odd to me. I like that I could easily convert that garage into whatever I want easily, starting by replacing the weak bunks. The bedroom is nice. The bathroom's only okay, but the overall trailer height is decent, so I like that.
What is up with the floor vent right in front of the garbage & sink? Worst placement ever! You would have to close it off so you wouldn't get stuff stuck in there or bend it when stepped on. Don't like that there isn't an option for a patio off the ramp. Big deal for those who entertain & tailgate. I Do like the big bedroom with the king bed! Finally!
Matt. Need to stop saying only when it comes to weight for the bunks. 150 is about the norm for a most kids well into early 20s. Then the over the cab bunks that can handle 500lbs. is great too. Being capable of two 200 pound kids is excellent. Fact is no one under 6' and not made of muscle should weigh more than 200. Now. That layout of the trailer is kind of cool. Motorcycles or ATVs up front. They could have put a smaller tv over the sink and more cabinets where they put the tv. The farm style doors are ugly. There's my 2 cents.
We live full time in our Outback and love it! Ps the tv swivels out in front of the sitting area.
Wow, that's good.
I would love to see more sturdy bunks. Totally agree with Matt. Could do a Murphy bed or fold down desk/ storage area in the garage too.
Agree...also give an option to make it into a patio as well!!!!
I would take the bunks out. I carry two motorcycles up there.
I love how excited you guys get about the trash cans!!!!! It always makes me laugh! Thank you! Please, never stop

Why can't you put the tv on a swivel arm to avoid the bad angle from the theater chairs?
