Steps:
1. Find the radius of the cone. Simply divide the diameter by 2 (recall that the radius is equal to half the diameter).
2. Substitute the known values into the Surface Area of a Cone formula: (πr^2 + πrl)

I really hate to be Mr. Picky Pants but the way you write decimals could be confusing to some folks. The position of your decimal point is too high, as a result it could be mistaken for one of the alternate multiplication symbols.
