A lot of people thought that 4625 was actually a release date teaser (April 6th or June 4th of next year) since the other code had some kind of significance. Dropping the game 4-6 months after a teaser like this makes sense to me at least
I don't entirely think you're grasping at straws with the sun and moon on that mural tbh. It's been long speculated that Sun and Moon aren't originally from the pizzaplex.
Also the caravan is in the stained glass, with a moon above and Sun below. The caravan in Carnies level have Moon's and Sun's on their tops and bottoms. The Carousel has a Moon overlapping the sun all along its floor. It's not grasping straws at all, they've been pretty blatant with the sun/Moon motifs and whatever Circus location is coming up
@@drawingdragon I don't think it's grasping at straws at all myself, but I like to leave some room for doubt. Sun and Moon feel like they belong in a circus. They don't really match any of the other animatronics and stick out like sore thumbs.
I fully believe this more than them being the theatre attendents. 1. Sun and Moon look older, maybe not ancient old but certainly the two aren't as pretty or new as the Glamrocks. 2. The arcade machine Balloon World in the DCA's room literally shows a circus. Why put a random circus arcade machine in a room with the DCA's? 3. Moon in HW2 rides the carosel which seems kinda weird because Moon has nothing to do with carosel's, but if he was a circus animatronic then that would make complete sense. 4. Their literal clothes scream jester/clown asthetic aka something you'd find in a circus. Granted if the DCA is in Secrets of the Mimin (I highly doubt it but Steelwool would be dumb considering how popular they are) they won't be the same.
What flavour cake What colour icing DOES IT HAVE SPRINKLES circle or square Cream in the middle? Don’t ask why I wanna know Also when’s it being made WHERE DO I FIND IT I WANT IR
I love that to get the secret lore of the dlc, we must throw food at the garbage charechter of mimic. That's VERY passive-aggressive on Steel Wool's part.
The video game version of the Mimic character we have, at most, spent 10 minutes with, and we know nothing about this version of the character. We know what the books say, but how much of the book makes it into the games remains to be seen. Remember, nothing in the books is officially canon until an official game makes it canon.
Seeing all of these Puppet Mimic connections feels like Mark when he was like “STOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING WHAT ARE YOU DOING”. Like Steel Wool I’m nervous 😭
I think markiplier actually said something along the lines of "stop trying to convince the players that 'ooh you see it was always this way, mimic was always there from the beginning' like no he wasn't" in a powerwash pals video featuring dawko.
I laughed so hard I ruined my voice when you "confessed" you took the MXES unit. Gurl you were floorin' it hard, damn. In seriousness though, I do agree with you there's a VERY large growing pile of coincidences and similarities between the Puppet and Jackie/Mimic in places.
Things I think. 1. Seeing how Glitchtrap is supposedly gone now I think Tiger-Rock is gonna take the Mantle of being the new Modern day Mimic Threat, I also think it’s possible that Vanny and Tiger-Rock could possibly team up. 2. I personally think the Van could be 1 of 2 things, 1: the Van is the same Van that hit David in the books. 2: the person driving this Van is either Henry and/or Edwin taking the M•X•E•S Console and bringing it to the fnaf 6 Location. 3. I feel their is a strong possibility that Jackie herself isn’t the Mimic but either Jackie is a part of the Mimic Branch and being Controlled, or the actual Mimic is somehow gonna take Jackie’s Animatronic Suit/Shell and put it on as a way to keep itself hidden and deceive us into thinking that Jackie is our Enemy (I personally think Jackie could be one of the very few Friendly Animatronics). 4. I think theirs a 50/50% chance that rather than actually going back to 1979 we play as someone in the present who is Exploring and Investigating places associated with what happened in 1979 and we’ll be given things like VHS’s and Film Reels and stuff. 5. In the Talesbook it’s said that Fazbear Entertainment once had an entire line of Mimic Endoskeletons but they were all decommissioned due to Mimicking human behaviors in ways they weren’t suppose to, i think theirs a strong chance that we’ll be facing off against more than just one Mimic. 6. Seeing how the Mimic is in its costume that we only see it in when achieving the Scooper ending this could possibly be implying that the Scooper Ending of Ruin is Canon. 7. If the Puppet (and by extension Charlotte Emily does return) they could have her inhabit the fnaf 6 Security Puppet.
As for point 6, I cannot agree. this is due to the fact that the situation takes place before the Ruins DLC, and the costume the Mimic wears is already iconic, so it's no surprise that they use it (after all, that's the whole twist to the Mimic's use of costumes)
I have stuff that sort of debunks 4. In the demo, Jackie is perfectly clean And there are posters that say “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza! Coming soon!” And Freddy’s was founded in 1983.
Can I just say? I LOVE your videos. I know most of the FNAF community is here for the theorizing but it's honestly so refreshing to watch someone who just discusses the franchise in a completely different way. Endless theorizing can get exhausting. It's just breaking apart and putting together the same information over and over again, and claiming you've 'solved FNAF' yet again, without making any meaningful progress. Seeing someone analyze the actual characters and story, and not be afraid to both praise and criticize it, breathes life back into this franchise for me. Keep doing what you're doing!
I think the purpose of the puzzles being in the games was so people returned to the minigames and fully replayed them. However, most people just left after they found a piece. I can tell that the intent was to replay the game again, and that's nice and all. Though, I didn't like how they reused the MXES animation from RUIN.
Yeah the re-using the animation bit bothered me more than it normally does. In say like an Indie Game, where reusing assets can save vital time and resources, here we have a leadup into....something less than exciting? It feels disappointing. Disappointing in a way like how if you'd get the THQ Movie Branded games (for Christmas) when you were younger but with the gameplay not exactly matching up, to the FEEL of the story, with it just providing fustrating vibes, due to how the games mechanically played. It'dd be cool if like MXES was like begging for help or just ominiously hinting at more (think gestures, cues even), not just LUNGING at the player. I like the overall vibe though of the extra content though. The Jackie bit was excellently creepy enough for me.
@@happyclown4331 I have a feeling this was kinda thrown together quickly because of people begging for a SOTM teaser. Since even tiger rock seems to be a shrunken down mascot costume. It has a zipper on the back, the mesh in the mouth like the ones in ruin it also has the same body shape
I thought they reused the animation because he looked a little different and they wanted to call back to the one from ruin rather than say it was a different version of mxes. Like, i was sitting there thinking that the lines and coloring looked a bit different, so i took the reused animation to decide it's the same mxes computer
All Mimics in the timeline: The MIMIC, Glitchtrap, Tiger Rock, Mimic1 program, Jackie, Puppet, Mimic V2 endos, Mimic V3 (glamrock anamatronics), the funtimes, Burntrap and the BLOB (the Tangle). Did I miss any?🤔🤣💀
Every reference to the Puppet is a reference to Charlie, something worth remembering. Jackie is another jack-in-the-box puppet playing My Grandfather's Clock just like the Puppet, Tiger Rock has the same color scheme as the Puppet just inverted (And with the TR plushie specifically, both striped with 3 buttons too), and all those Nightmarionne plushies and Staffbots throughout both Security Breach, Ruin, and Help Wanted 2, you know, all infected by the Mimic, and don't forget the "Charlie's door" thing too. It's interesting isn't it? Even more interesting when you remember one of the most popular theories on the Mimic's owners, the Murray's, are book parallels to Henry and Charlie/Sammy. And you know... We never got Henry and Charlie's last name, did we? We assumed it was Emily but it was just that, an assumption, for something that makes way more sense to be a middle name. So... How do "Henry Murray" and "Charlotte Emily Murray" sound like to you?
I haven't played the games or read the books yet, but Henry Murray does make sense. Given that the games never gave him a surname and the fact that the movie uses Schmidt as the surname instead could lead to revelations. For example, Sammy probably had a close call and was almost killed by a van. Not to mention that the books probably exist in-universe as cover stories. So it would make sense that some of the details are fabricated.
OMG I commented a theory I just made up when SOTM teaser released about how maybe Edwin is possibly Charlotte's grandpa with the whole Grandfather's Clock connection (I based this theory off of the title of the song, I didn't know it was just stock music and not an actual original melody), someone then reminded me that Edwin only had one son (David) in which I forgot about :P so minus the easily debunkable "Edwin is Charlie's Grandpappy" thing, I didn't think this theory could actually be possible! Hah! I guess I wasn't crazy after all, thank the Grandfather's Clock for existing.
I mean the encyclopaedia for the series doesn't give Henry a last name, so it could be Murray It does give Charlotte the last name of Emily but that's it
I didn't even know this dlc was out until now. What the fuck you mean? There's a company that knew they were possessed. Why aren't people still fit why this off ghost
So glad the theory that the mimic and glitchtrap are so obsessed with having gregory under their control because he reminds them of david is essentially canon at this point Makes the mimic way more sympathetic and humanized than william ever was lmao 12:02 What a powerhouse that charlie is, and for basically no real reason at that The only explanation we ever get is henry talking about how fucking awesome she is lol Detected that william was being kept alive despite the fire and decided "i'm not gonna pass on yet, actually"
@@dylanhudec979 Are you perhaps schizophrenic? Nobody ever said anything about the Mimic being better than William. All the commenter said was the Mimic is more humanized than William Go back to school kid, your reading comprihension is not really good
I had a theory that Glamrock Freddy protects Gregory because that was what the Mimic was programmed to do, protect David. Maybe the Mimic is mimicking the aggressive Edwin and is out for blood because he wants David back, kind of like William Afton and Henry Emily.
@@phoneguy4637I don’t know what OP is talking about, but you’re absolutely correct. It’s an old destroyed lion mascot costume. It’s wearing a varsity football jacket and nothing else. So unless I’m miss remembering Gregory, but he was wearing pants and a shirt (not a football jacket).
@loganbreau882 exactly. khaki coloured shorts and a royal blue poloshirt with two white stripes around the belly and a white collar. he was also wearing white sneakers with patterns on them.
The issue here was people assuming it was a DLC. Steel Wool never said this was a DLC, just an update. People kept calling to a DLC and ran with it, when that's never what it was, hence why a bunch of people felt this was so short. Cause it was supposed to be. Oh yeah, this is also confirmation. The Mimic program is Glitchtrap, since he has a memory plush of Tiger Rock, which only The Mimic would remember. Suprise suprise! not really, this was blatantly obvious
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 Out of all the ways they could have had you give the Plushie, they chose to have Glitchtrap give it to you, which to me is pretty telling. Also M.X.E.S. animation is slightly altered, for one his face isn't smiling, instead he looks seemingly agitated and he also just stares at you the entire time even as he's being pulled back into the supercomputer while in Ruin he looks back at the supercomputer before being sucked into it.
This teaser felt very simmilar to the Halloween update to Fnaf World. Mainly how it was the first time we heard Baby speak, and also being used as a teaser to Sister Location.
Alright alright, how many mimics do we have? Circus Baby who's the 4th Charlie stage in the TSE trilogy, Tiger Rock from the Tales From The Pizzaplex books, a Mimic AI corrupting animatronics, a Mimic endo trapped underground in SB and RUIN, and now! A Mimic possibly being the puppet! Seriously if there's gonna be more mimics I'm literally just gonna dip out.
Ngl I’m kinda digging the idea of the puppet working against Jackie. Like if you think about it Jackie (if she is the mimic) is doing the very thing that the puppet tries to prevent. It would also kinda help make sense as to why there are two puppet like animatronics now.
i think theres only one puppet, they probably just found it outside in the rain after charlie's death and since it was damaged it couldnt move so they kept it in the fnaf 2 puppet box
It was a FREE update NOT a DLC which is why there wasn’t a lot of content. For an update, there is more than enough content. Also the puzzle pieces are like the coins where it’s heavily implied that there are more to collect, so a voice line isn’t needed.
As short as it was, I liked this small teaser DLC ! The Gift shop reminded me of Scott's past games which is pretty neat (even if it might be unintentional). Getting the full Jackie model was very cool imo ! Now when it comes to the Puppet references... I DON'T think they are directly connected (like the Puppet = the Mimic, because it's the kind of retcon absolutely NOBODY would like and Steelwool know it). I think they are definitively connected but more so because they were created during the same time period and with similar ideas in mind, just different means.
Thank you so much for making a video on this. I feel like you’re the only youtuber that truly breaks down what’s happening and for that I will always be subscribed to you
Short as it was, the fact we got this short teaser was interesting. However, I don't really enjoy the books being canon to the games, but hey, that's just my feelings.
Tbf just cuz the game and books share some similarities doesn't mean that the events of the book are 100% canon to the game. We have to wait for SOTM to see.
Me either. I still kinda feel like the books are more reflections of the game, with characters and stuff passing over. Idk honestly tho, but the books being fully canon is a… choice
@@treyvonlavell7334a common opinion I’ve seen is the fact in order to know the story of the games someone will have to go buy most of the books, which will cost a lot
@treyvonlavell7334 my issue is a). From a storytelling perspective, keeping some of the lore in books that aren't encyclopedias or things themed around the games themselves (think like the survival logbook) is not a good decision because while solving the lore did require doing some extreme things like looking in website source code, at least those were all still digital mediums. Having to use a separate type of medium when you could try to stick to one to me is like having to solve a puzzle but needing to use an entirely different type of puzzle to solve the greater puzzle as a whole. Speaking of which, b). The fact that the main aspect of the books that is important to the games, primarily the epilogues, requires you to either have access to all the books yourself or look online for people's readings on the book. Now, granted, the latter is a decent substitute for those who can't get all the books. But at that point, at least unlike trying to play a game for yourself, reading a book, at least to me, looses a lot more of it's impact when you already know what's going to happen. At least with playing a game after a let's play you can have a different experience with most FNAF games due to the fact that you might encounter an Easter egg the person you watched didn't, like getting Golden Freddy. Again tho, these are just my opinions.
@@Kirkiebif the theory about it releasing in April is right, it may be a teaser trailer with screenshots in February and a gameplay trailer releasing in March with the games releasing early April
The more I sit on it, the more J like the two Puppet theory. It helps with the “save them” conundrum (the puppet we see there is the mimic-puppet and little boy was the kid the mimic was emulated) and it would perhaps explain the existence of all the Nightmarionne connections in the pizzaplex.
You're right in that it wasn't a big reveal for people like us who stay very up to date with this franchise but I still really liked the Tales implications, the puzzle minigame, the MXES cutscene, newJackie content and the overall design of the gift shop. It's just a really lovely teaser for SOTM that makes me genuinely look forward to the future game.
3:32 it is possible that is the plush the boy had. Remember the kid (whatever his name was) ran around with a tiger plush when he was playing with the mimic. That may be the plush he had.
The MXES computer in the van almost looked like how a coffin looks in the back of a hearse, except larger. I almost felt like there's a push that David Murray might be the MXES Bunny.
Theres too many children in the comments who havent been here since 2014. No this doesnt mean that all the books are suddently canon. Theres has been countless simularites before and more will certainly come. The books as a whole have never been canon, and probably will never be. They are "side-canon", they have simularities to the games (and the other way around) to help put the pieces together. They might have things in common, but theyre in completely seperate continueties. Not to mention that all the diffrent books series arent canon to eachother.
Kinda unrelated- but I was re-listening to the phone calls from FNAF 3, in the call about putting on the springlock suits, phone guy mentioned using the hand crank provided by “the manufacturer” this seems to be referring to a company and not just Afton or Henry, that make me think- what if Edwin’s company had been the one manufacturing the actual parts for the robots the whole time? I feel like that would fit in the lore seamlessly and make the mimic less of a random add on.
WAIT, WHAT IF WILLIAM STEALS MURRAYCO TO TURN INTO AFTON ROBOTICS?! Jackie looks VERY similar to the Funtimes. And Scott released Dittophobia at the end of the Tales for a reason. We also don't have an answer for Nightmarionne, who we know is the "twisted reflection of has created" (Puppet x Dittophobia experiments?) so....maybe...
For the Puppet and Mimic section, I would also like to add that Jackie is a Jack in The Box, which, when you crank it( in real life)plays “Pop Goes The Weasel.” Which is what plays when the puppet leaves the box in FNAF 2.
My guess is the mural with Blue Springbonnie + Yellow Fredbear, on the gift shop could mean 1 of 2 things. Option 1 = Sun & Moon's (due to the color/placement) personalities are based off of Henry and William. Option 2 = Springbonnie being blue is to signal that MXES (the blue bunny) is made by Afton.
Jackie's dress looks a lot like ribbon candy to me. Lot of candy references here, maybe a certain cadet will be in the next game too? Edit: nvm i misremembered the "Masks" sign on the building as saying "Candy"
If 1-27 is a date it could be meaning we could be getting more information or a trailer on January 27th... As for the whole candy factory and gift shop it could possibly imply that Afton Robotics made animatronics for other companies unrelated to Fazbear entertainment. Which honestly is even more horrific than it sounds...
Silly theory, but now I wonder if at some early point in the timeline the Mimic became the endo controlling the Puppet, but then lost control over its body when Charlie possessed it. Since the Mimic is presumably an AI and not a ghost, it’s body was possessed by Charlie’s spirit, something akin to the Stitchwraith, but Charlie having most of the control. (Stitchwraith was a Puppet-like mask on an endo) Now that the Pizza Sim location burned down and Charlie’s soul is free, the Mimic is also back in control of its body. The differences in design could be the Mimic editing it’s own anatomy to fit the new Glamrock suits / taking parts from the Glamrock Endos, as well as repairing any damage the fire would’ve caused it. Which is why it’s anatomy is different from the Puppet’s. They couldddd make this be why it had repeated some of William’s behavior, the Mimic witnessed that behavior first hand and is now mimicking Charlie’s murder? Though personally I don’t want another William-related villain and want Burntrap/Glitchtrap to be it’s own thing, and I want Mimic to be it’s own thing. But that’s me. Ngl I’m still uncertain as to what extent this new era of FNaF is supernatural, and to what extent it’s technological. If the Glamrock Animatronics and Mimic are haunted by ghosts, or just evil or hacked AIs. Idk something about all the media of this post-Scott era of FNaF feels more like Goosebumps than it does FNaF if that makes sense. A more vague Goosebumps. I just wish we had some concrete details to go off of, as a lot more of this era is somehow more vague than the Scott days, and the community is left with only speculating rather than mystery solving. Hopefully the Secret of the Mimic starts filling in these holes, and not punching in more.
Y'know, Jackie looks a lot like Ennard's mask. Similar hat, similar facial shape with the big vertical line and permanent smile, similar red eyebrows. I wonder if the design for the mask is supposed to retroactively be some Funtime variant of Jackie, or something. Though her hands look ripped right off one of the Toy animatronics, but that's likely more of it being a simple way to do completely covered mechanical hands than some intentional tie-in.
Yeah, I’m not excited for Jackie either because of all the massive red flags about it’s connections to the puppet, and now that Talesgames is canon that just opens a huge can of worms with Fazbear frights.
I would be thrilled if that 1/27 was a teaser date because that would get us news less than a week after my birthday, which would be a delightful surprise, and we all know that Fazbear Entertainment only ever gives the best surprises on your birthday!
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 and the mimic model is reused from ruin. the tiger rock plush is either an altered vanny plush or an actual costume suit in the new SOTM they shrunk down to make a quick plush (the zipper on its back makes me think this)
I mean puppet and Tiger rock are both security details. But with all the history we have on Charlotte as the Puppet, and the fact that Tiger rock keeps putting this idea of multiple souls in peoples' heads, I really hope they are, in fact, not one and the same. I do, in fact, believe that Jackie, that being the Mimic, was A puppet. Not THE puppet. Puppets throughout the series, look at Fnaf 2 and 6, have always been security and monitoring details and Jackie absolutely seems like a security puppet. It also ties into another theory I have that the three paper pals are actually the main three animatronics of Fredbear's diner, a bear, a rabbit, and a clown. I especially think that with the various hints of this being in the past, as well as the mural in the window of the gift shop. A bear and bunny in a traveling troupe? Definitely sounds like Jackie is the Foxy of the group, the less important one who remains off to the side. A security robot/attraction also hosted in Freadbear's. Clowns never really went out of the brand if you think about it. Jackie, Baby, Ballora, The juice twins, BB, JJ, lotta clowns.
This dlc gave me bendy: secrets of the ink machine vibes. Due to both of them being big teasers for upcoming projects. Which I honestly quite like alot.
7:31 Yeah no that's valid, I would've done the same. Great vid as always, dunno what happened at 2:51 with the "caAAAr", though maybe it's a reference I don't get. Ngl, that Jackie model is pretty damn great, and the idea of the gift shop aint too bad, but I'm not sure putting it back in 1979 is that great of an idea, it feels...i dunno, too big? at such an early point in the Fnaf timeline, at least. Like, wasn't it only supposed to be just the Diner back then, things only expanding AFTER? Though maybe it's just gonna be in a later point in time, who knows. But yeah, great vid, fingers crossed so that Steel Wool doesn't make a "Puppet was actually the Mimic" retcon! Also those edited graphic novel panles never fail to be funny, I aprove
While I’m sad that we didn’t get an extra level with Monty in it, I’m decently happy with the update. Seeing Jackie’s model for the first time was great, and I wonder if she’s really THAT big because oh dear that’s horrifying 😅 I loved the M.X.E.S. appearance because -I have a crush on him- I think it’s an interesting character that has a lot of potential. I will absolutely take a puzzle piece being in Bonnie Bowl and the Daycare Attendant’s loft as a sign that they will make more appearances lol. Though it would be sad if it also implies that the other Glamrocks won’t make an appearance due to no pieces being in their levels. Also you didn’t need to find all the pieces to open the door btw
Gregory and Vanessa took it! We saw Gregory escape the Pizzaplex in a van in one of the endings. It's not the exact same, but maybe they had some work done to it so it didn't look like a pizza delivery van. Gotta stay discreet!
...it was literally announced 2 days before it came out on a single youtube stream. It wasn't suppose to be anything big. Just a tiny update to tease the next game. People that keep wrongly calling it a DLC are whats giving people conflicting expectations. DLCs imply new gameplay like Ruin and Curse of Dreadbear. Steel Wool specifically called this a small update not a DLC. It is incredible how no one takes 20 seconds to actually look anything up
just a note, you don’t need to find the puzzle pieces before throwing something at the mimic model, so i think it’s fine that mystical hippo doesn’t hint at them once you find the plush, you can throw something at the mimic model, the door opens, you open the box, the puzzle appears, and then you can guess that you need to find the pieces but yeah it is kind of annoying to look into every single level to find the hidden pieces
I think they did actually reveal the release date right under our noses. Help Wanted 2, a newer VR game made by Steel Wool, was announced in May and released in December. That’s 7 months. Secret Of The Mimic was announced in August and also revealed it would release in 2025, but we don’t know when. Seven months from August is April. The fourth month of the year. The code for the MXES machine is 4625. That 25 defiantly feels suspicious. And that 46 could also mean *April* *6th* which is seven months after Secret Of The Mimic was announced. In fact, it’s EXACTLY seven months from the announcement, Secret Of The Mimic was announced August *6th* 2024. I saw a reddit post about the release date, and I kinda put the pieces together myself about the whole 7 months thing. If it’s confirmed that April 6th, 2025 is the release date, then that’s honestly the coolest way I’ve sever seen any game announce a release date. (Oh and one more thing, the 46 in the code reminds me of Patient 46)
It’s honestly great how Steel Wool is teasing Secret of The Mimic. The stained glass mural is definitely symbolic in some way. I guess we’ll see who the Mimic really is once the game releases. Great video!
I feel like "it was the mimic all along" is what was being teased with his short stories. Like suddenly we got some origin story, then later we see his Legacy 50 years later, and then even later, that same character is a surprise final antagonist of the first post-afton game. I dont know, it feels like foreshadowing/garden plotting 101. If the Mimic went nowhere, it would be really weird. That said, I do not think the Mimic is specifically the Puppet. The vibe im getting is that Jackie/Mimic/Murray is like an entire side story happening alongside the hauntings/MCI/Afton stuff.
So... you're telling me that a Van drove off with the MXES? Kind of like how Vanny (Orange-Eyed Helpi) "took away" the MXES by shutting it down with Grimic? I think Steel Wool likes puns.
Wait THAT’s what Hippo’s third hint meant? I threw the Chica taco at him by accident, partly because I went in blind up to that point. And then I wondered why he made a sound. I just assumed he hated tacos.
ahh, as someone who has been out of fnaf for a long time and just coming back, the idea of the books being canon makes getting back into fnaf feel a hell of a lot more daunting
honestly, bonnie and freddy being parallels to sun and moon before chica joins the crew is not far-fetched at all. It actually sounds very very interesting as it looks to be referencing william and henry.
How I interpreted the MXES scene was either someone who found the MXES in maybe an abandoned factory where SOTM took place and was taking it to the pizza plex to guard the mimic or it’s Gregory & Vanessa taking the MXES out from the pizzaplex now that it’s presumably escaped so they could find it. Since the machine is in very bad condition. Loved seeing Jackie’s in game model she looks great and scary. Still interesting that tiger rock and Edwin Murray is officially confirmed to be part of the main line canon.
This new update brought me mixed feelings. Feelings of excitement but also slight dissapointment. I never wanted the books to overlap the games for reasons: because fnaf just wouldnt feel the same. And now were diving into the probability that fnaf is more of a AI rogue furutristic mess than originally planned. I'm not depressed or anything. If im being honest, this doesn't feel like FNAF. And I know what ya'll are gonna say "thats not true, glitchtrap's the mimic' which is fine. Have your own opinion. But I still love the idea more of William being Glitchtrap rather than this talesgames overlap stuff. People are saying that the mimic is going to replace him, which makes me really annoyed due to him being such an iconic villain built up to be this crazy unstoppable monster, now replaced with a daddy issue robot? This mimic character is the most bittersweet one yet. He's caused so much of a divide it's almost sad. I don't know, and I'm starting to not care anymore. But, I still love Steelwool and what they make. Who knows what the future holds.
@turkeyman9914 Don't worry Fnaf community tend to hate new things. I'm sure people gonna love him in a few more years. (Unless they're not Afton Lovers....)
@@turkeyman9914 I think it's more how he appeared and the way another built up threat with a lot of fanfare (Vanny) got shafted and replaced by a rouge AI. If no one read or heard of the books people will have no clue what's with this weird endo that hasn't been mentioned in any meaningful way in the games before Ruin. Sadly there was no build up for this payoff so the Mimic falls flat with his first impression. For me personally I can't get behind a ghost story that is now about a wonky AI with no real motivation or goal. It just repeats destructive behaviours just because.
"thanks lady. WOMAN." got me cackling in public HELPPP also i was expecting something more similar to the previous help wanted dlc (and hoping for more eclipse content 😭), but this is really interesting! i'm really intrigued about the new storyline, and for the first time in forever, i'm actually hopeful for it!! it looks like a breath of fresh air (is that how you say it??), and while i do NOT care for the mimic, the new location and the prospect of a new cast got me like 👀 anyway, thank you for this video! as someone with no access to the newer games, this content is very much appreciated- but also all your videos in general always provide me with serotonin, plus i find them very well-made, funny, and interesting keep up the good work! and stay safe 💜
Theory: Jacky getting linked to Sister Location. on the Pre Release Webside it says that theres an old 5th out of usage Animatronic, so Jacky was there ig? Maybe the Night 4 suit, not that it matters
Also, there is something many have noticed about the house. One of the windows has raining effects on it, if you brighting the game enough, you can see the rain. That tells me this house was taken straight from the upcomming game, showing us that wee (mostly sure) wee will start the new fnaf game outside the factory, on a rainy day.
I don't think the mimic was the puppet; but I think the mimic was *supposed* to be a second puppet. If the mimic was made for the purpose of housing a child's soul and imitating a specific child to basically, replace them- then it would make sense to try and replicate the circumstances we see in the puppet flashback that seems to be the first instance of a soul attaching to an animatronic. Just making a new "security puppet" that was the mimic in disguise and hoping it would follow programming to locate and attach to a dying soul; makes the most sense to explain what the mimic's connection is. Not the primary puppet, but trying to emulate it to achieve similar results and failing. The mimic would then be left with programming telling it to find a dying child and likely, corrupting that programming to then hunt children in an attempt to fulfill its purpose. It gets locked away in the first location under the pizzaplex so thankfully, it would be off the table for being the "Give gifts" puppet since that occurs later on in the company lifespan.
I think MXES driving off in the van is Gregory and Vanessa taking Mxes to the pizza plex, we know that atleast Gregory locked the mimic down there ( sense we saw his bookbag ), also we get an ending of Gregory driving in a van in sb.

It's not grasping straws at all, they've been pretty blatant with the sun/Moon motifs and whatever Circus location is coming up
Also if you look at the windows they have little crescent moons on them and the way the large window is shaped resembles an eclipse
@@drawingdragon I don't think it's grasping at straws at all myself, but I like to leave some room for doubt.
Sun and Moon feel like they belong in a circus. They don't really match any of the other animatronics and stick out like sore thumbs.
They make a lot of noise compared to the other animatronics in the pizza place. They almost sound clicky when they move, they do sound older

@@GJames-Legend101 Wait, there’s an army of scrapped Mimics? That sounds epic!! (Which book though? I’m currently reading TigerRock so no spoilers)

Thank you so much! 😊And I will! That's the plan!
I actually like this and reimaginations/AUs ( like Insightful llama's video ) more.
This is non-serious by the way. Unless it ends up being right then I was cursed with the gift of Apollo and all must bow down before me.
I mean the encyclopaedia for the series doesn't give Henry a last name, so it could be Murray

What's the problem with Tales being game canon, if you don't mind me asking?
I think the release date is the code you use on the MXES machine! “4625” could be 4/6/25! April 6th 2025!
The vans license plate conveniently also says 1/27 which could possibly be either a release date for the game or another teaser. Possibly the latter

4:10 Everyone I’ve seen play has not gotten the puzzle pieces first, yet the door still opens.
What can of worms?
@@damkylan3 I just don’t want the worst stories of fazbear frights like “In the flesh” and faz goo to become canon.
bruh all i wanted was for them to add in glamrock bonnie's voicelines 😭😭 LEMME HEAR MY BOYYYYYYYY ION EVEN CARE ABT THE MIMIC ANYMORE
I would be thrilled if that 1/27 was a teaser date because that would get us news less than a week after my birthday, which would be a delightful surprise, and we all know that Fazbear Entertainment only ever gives the best surprises on your birthday!
Always love seeing more content. Seeing more things to wrap your brain around and ponder
2:51 bro that caaaaRRRRRRR from David will haunt me forever😂😂😂😂
Glitchtrap giving you the Tiger Rock plush seems like a slamdunk GlitchMimic confirmation which is pretty cool.
I thought about that, but it could also be a reused asset since the Mxes' animations are reused.
It was a sorta reference to that new Mimic song that is... worth a listen to. XD
@notrealnamenotatall2476 ahh, i see
Ill try to give it a listen lol
I just like how fnaf has so many stories to tell, the theories are like little stories to watch and read
What a wonderful video I like the sillier tone. this video rocked
Thank you so much! 8D
Same this channel is quite fun!~
While I’m sad that we didn’t get an extra level with Monty in it, I’m decently happy with the update. Seeing Jackie’s model for the first time was great, and I wonder if she’s really THAT big because oh dear that’s horrifying 😅
I loved the M.X.E.S. appearance because -I have a crush on him- I think it’s an interesting character that has a lot of potential.
I WAS EXPECTING MONTY WHYYYYYYYYYYY HE IS LITERALLY A FORGOTTEN CHARACTER NOW
You’ve heard of grimic, now get ready for the Muppet.
Gregory and Vanessa took it! We saw Gregory escape the Pizzaplex in a van in one of the endings. It's not the exact same, but maybe they had some work done to it so it didn't look like a pizza delivery van. Gotta stay discreet!
I didn’t even hear about this coming out so it really musta been not all that
...it was literally announced 2 days before it came out on a single youtube stream.
It is incredible how no one takes 20 seconds to actually look anything up
just a note, you don’t need to find the puzzle pieces before throwing something at the mimic model, so i think it’s fine that mystical hippo doesn’t hint at them
once you find the plush, you can throw something at the mimic model, the door opens, you open the box, the puzzle appears, and then you can guess that you need to find the pieces
but yeah it is kind of annoying to look into every single level to find the hidden pieces
2:51 "Got hit by a cAAARRrr"
That REALLY took me out Hehehe
I just assumed he hated tacos.
ahh, as someone who has been out of fnaf for a long time and just coming back, the idea of the books being canon makes getting back into fnaf feel a hell of a lot more daunting
tbh even if they do make the books canon they've always been background info
honestly, bonnie and freddy being parallels to sun and moon before chica joins the crew is not far-fetched at all.
Who knows what the future holds.
why do you people hate the mimic so much? He’s had ONE appearance in the games. Come on, give him a chance.
@turkeyman9914 Don't worry
Fnaf community tend to hate new things.
@@gemnickygamer169 you actually understood what she was saying you have my respect
@@TomatoTrap-kj4yw I hope so! I think he's a great villain.
"thanks lady. WOMAN." got me cackling in public HELPPP
also i was expecting something more similar to the previous help wanted dlc (and hoping for more eclipse content 😭), but this is really interesting! i'm really intrigued about the new storyline, and for the first time in forever, i'm actually hopeful for it!! it looks like a breath of fresh air (is that how you say it??), and while i do NOT care for the mimic, the new location and the prospect of a new cast got me like 👀
anyway, thank you for this video! as someone with no access to the newer games, this content is very much appreciated- but also all your videos in general always provide me with serotonin, plus i find them very well-made, funny, and interesting
keep up the good work! and stay safe 💜
Glad I'm not the only one who thought of Hello Neighbor when they saw the gift shop
They did it. They actually did it
Theory: Jacky getting linked to Sister Location. on the Pre Release Webside it says that theres an old 5th out of usage Animatronic, so Jacky was there ig? Maybe the Night 4 suit, not that it matters
Also, there is something many have noticed about the house. One of the windows has raining effects on it, if you brighting the game enough, you can see the rain.
That tells me this house was taken straight from the upcomming game, showing us that wee (mostly sure) wee will start the new fnaf game outside the factory, on a rainy day.
As a big Sun and Moon fan, I feel called out about linking them to some of the stuff we've gotten so far about SotM lol
Getting a full look of Jackie is pretty neat
Can’t wait to see how secret of the mimic manages to sneak Kellen Goff in there
I think MXES driving off in the van is Gregory and Vanessa taking Mxes to the pizza plex, we know that atleast Gregory locked the mimic down there ( sense we saw his bookbag ), also we get an ending of Gregory driving in a van in sb.
This is exactly what I though of too
Quick note: as per RyeToast playing through this, the door will open even if you don’t have any of the puzzle pieces.
The mimic puppet, or as we shall call her: The muppet. Wait
