    You neglected to mention that the first apartment in Mount Pleasant is a leasehold property, which has many cons attached to it - being higher down payment required, limited mortgage options, harder for resale etc. A studio is a great option for many people. It's about you and your lifestyle, not you and your things.

      Correct, and yes as with any type of property there are pros and cons. This one expires in 2073 so should have as tough time getting financing as one that expires in the next 10-20 years :)
