That sounds so peaceful! I used to love sitting on my balcony and just gazing at the stars too. There's something really magical about it, like everything else melts away for a moment. I really miss having a balcony for those quiet moments of reflection, but now I have my patio with all these plants. It's such a beautiful way to connect with the world :)
This one was tranquil! I like listening to all the little noises passing around me. Life is everywhere, moving about its own way and breathing with us.
Hey Nick. It’s great to hear from you again! I’m glad this one felt tranquil-I love how you described tuning into the sounds around you. That kind of mindfulness feels like tapping into the frequency of life itself.
I believe happiness is something we already have inside us. But there's often this voice telling us we need to achieve certain things before we can be truly happy. And even when I feel happy for no reason, that same voice says, "This isn't real, you need to earn your happiness." The truth is, I can feel happy right now, without needing a specific reason. That voice is just noise-it's not me, and it's not the truth. Meditation has helped me hear these thoughts without identifying with them. It allows me to choose happiness regardless, reminding me that it's been inside me all along.
Thanks for sharing this! I really resonate with what you're saying about the inner voice that tells us we need to 'earn' our happiness. I think that also applies to the feeling that we have to earn being 'worthy' of love, an idea that I want to explore in an upcoming video. It's so powerful to recognize that happiness doesn't have to be conditional. I love how meditation has helped you notice and separate from those limiting thoughts. Of course, I know this isn’t always easy. Many people really struggle with it, especially if dealing with mood disorders or other challenges. It’s often a gradual process, but the awareness you mentioned is such a meaningful first step

This is a wonderful way to look at things. I love sitting in the balcony and just staring up at the stars.
