Please excuse my comments, but I am not really into cars but I do love to watch them being fixed. Technically I am still a qualified diesel fitter and these videos help me remember things I no longer have access to., I enjoyed this guys :)
You're doing the environment a massive favour bringing these cars back to life and giving them many more miles to run. It really makes a difference to natural resources etc so well done and nice job👍
I only subscribed to this channel a couple of months ago but i must admit as a vehicle mechanic myself im very impressed with the way you sort these cars ‘’properly’’ im a stickler for detail and doing the job right, if your not going to do it right then dont do it at all is my motto ! well done to you both rob and chris ,greetings from jersey Channel Islands !
You usually turn out great vehicles, but that one must be your car of the year. For anyone who is in the market for a great, clean low mileage car, that must be the one for them. Not just your perfect, reliable work, but a shrewd buy when you opted to take it on. Buy right and sell well, this must be a great one for the business. You have a lovely weekend and the same to all viewers. It sounds like an upcoming week to get nice and fit, to be ready to enjoy.
These Focus's really are absolute bargains in their class and drive lovely while still looking good. Perfect for those who don't like to loose/waste money on cars.
*Top tip:* Use silicon grease for the caliper slider pins as the mineral grease can deteriorate the rubber inserts. This applies to all instances where the grease contacts with rubber components.

Cannot believe what you've done with that shed of a car. Love the MOT tester's reaction - says it all! Well done fellas - another triumph (No, Ford!), and another car rescued. Perfick!
What a turnaround, like night and day.I doubt most people would believe its previous condition if you hadnt documented it.Switching the boot door with Marks other one seems like the better thing to do,saves money, time and effort.Cheers for the content Rob and Chris.
Wow! What a job. Great work you two. I love these resurrection jobs. They’re ones I can relate to! Come on though Rob, how about getting at least one can for the quiet man. What a team you make. Thanks for the upbeat start to my weekend.
Total credit to you two for turning the Focus around. A lot of people would never have the guts to take on the necessary works this car required. Credit to you Rob and Chris it’s been excellent content. I cannot wait for next week.
One of the things I love about watching your channel is the care you take in the process of bringing vehicles back to mint condition, what a transformation.

A genuine comment Rob, I use to use copper slip on the sliders but it would turn to paste and make them stiff. Red grease is better and also red grease is better for the rubber boots on the sliders as it doesn’t degrade them. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
Rubber boots don't really need anything only a light smear on the the face of the steel piston. We do use red grease but only on the internal seals or o rings
Looking forward to the final video. Recycling at its finest. Especially impressed with the rustproofing. Done my van and car with commas wax seal anti rust treatment.prevention is cheaper than cure. Looking forward to the what two cars you've purchased.
