For the record, I think we all like your intro descriptions at the beginning 😊
He did a great job...but I just wanted to hear the drum.
@@elroyblackbean of course that's why I tell you when the demo starts
yes
Funny excited we drummers get about snares. My wife is like… another snare lol. Yup this is on my list. Never has a bronze snare that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it
What a great snare for jazz in the higher tunings. Wasn’t expecting that
Love the look, love the sound! Santa are you reading this?
The whole 10th minute is this drums Sweet spot for sure.. the sound of a 6 1/2 staple.. Nice nice and more nice. And the raw finish makes it all sound as it looks.. The higher tuning and those ghost notes too. Probably the Best snare i've heard
Totally sold!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually like the high tunings. crazy how high you can tune this one and it's still usable :D
perfect in all tunings
Great performance, great sounding snare, great drummer! Thanks
Beautiful! ❤
Love that snare
Greatest snare drum I ever heard!
Thank you!
Been waiting for this one! definitely adding it to my collection 👍
Klauth, ordered the exact model being used in this video today. I'm subscribed to your channel. Once you get yours, I would love to hear your thoughts re: how it compares to the Ludwig 6.5 Hammered Bronze version you own. If they re-release it in 6.5, I will probably get one.
Hello and welcome Cameron! appreciate your checking in 👍 yes, I plan on doing a video for more of the bronze offerings. will wait to see what comes out at the NAMM show so, I don't miss any of the new offerings. but, for now I can tell you that it sits between the polished smooth and hammered versions. splitting hairs though.@@camerondean6804
@@klauth_YksynI understand waiting till NAMM. I fell in love with its open sound (I presume from lack of platting and low mass tube lugs) so had to pull the trigger. My early Christmas gift this year.
Wow!
SOLD .... I want one , LOL!
Come on, let's do it! 2112percussion.com
Exquisita
bananas..
Can I buy that one in this video?...a year later
Thanks for another great demo! The hammered bronce is compared to this one a bit drier, no?
What is your favorite bronze snare? This one sounds amazing in all tunings.
What would you say is the better choice, this one or the one with the imperial lugs
Tube lugs make the drum sound a little more open, so if you like that, it's really hard to beat the tube lugs.
Thanks I think I may go for that one, you see more of the shell too
Medium-high tuning. 🤌🤌🤌
I love it. It’s not a vistalite but it sounds good.
Did you change the lugs? I love the look of tube lugs but the model offered online does not come with that lug style. Which is a real bummer.
These are Ludwig lugs, but it's an option that needs to be ordered, and unfortunately the website takes the listing down unless it's in stock. And of course our stock sold in about two weeks. We have more in order, though, so you can probably claim one by calling us at 919-833-0046
man.... hard choice not sure if i want this one or the brass ....
@@oscara.garcia5136 trust me you want the bronze
@@2112percussion_ 6 1/2 x 14 or 5 x14 ...? LOL
@@2112percussion_As an owner, I concur. iMHO, one of top 2024 snares.
Try raw copper.
