Nice playing!
The pitting on Supraphonics is not due to Ludwig doing a poor job , it's just that chrome doesn't bind to aluminum as well as it does to other metals like steel or brass. Nice demo!
Well, I heard some different stories about that issue. You are correct that the chrome does not bind as well on aluminium. But I also heard, that Ludwig turned-off the chrome bath over the weekends and that this led to the inconstancy of the chrome quality...
@@danielschwarz5335 Bob Marley's drummer 🥁 named Carlton Barrett used the Ludwig Supraphonic 402 snare drum.
Why do Ludwig snares sound so much better than anything else?
Interesting and pleasant comparison. Congratulations Daniel you are great!!👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks ! You're welcome !
Wonderfully done and great audio, so nice job, thank you. I loved them all.
Thank you !
Love the channel, great video👍🥁 What would you say your RESO heads are tuned at? Over 400 HZ ??? THANKS.
Daniel 🔥 Sehr geiles informatives Video und knaller Sound
Danke Dir !
Eben erst gesehen :D.
Hat mir gut gefallen 👍 toller Sound !!!
Yeah!
LM-400 is my favorite pic, that and a Black Beauty 6 1/2, maybe a nice wood snare, jazzfest or something then that’s all ya really need!! lol
True. I do have a Ludwig Standard wooden shell snare drum, which is basically a Jazzfest with different lugs and a different wrap.
Great video! What snare comparison would you recommend against the super sensitive Ludwig? Ty.
Hi. Thanks for this video. You mention putting a 'no-collar' reso head on the Super-Sensitive. I've never heard of this, but I have that rattling problem with my bronze SS. Can you give more information on this type of snare-side head?
Hy, apparently, UA-cam decided to remove the link of the picture, which I posted here a couple of minutes ago. The No-Collar head is basically a regular Remo Ambassador Hazy but without a collar, so it's totally flat. Type in " Remo No-Collar" in Google and you will find some detailed pictures...
Fun fact : the original Ludwig resonant head which came with the SuSe, had no collar as well...
Would love to know what cymbals you’re using here - they sound awesome. Especially that crash!
Hy. All vintage cymbals. In front of me : 18" Avedis Thin Crash ; Ride 22" Avedis Ping Ride ; Right Crash 20" Paiste Formula 602 Multi ; HiHat 14" Paiste 2002 SoundEdge
Thank you! Love your videos.
Suppraphonic?
It’s Sooopraphonic
Enjoyed the video though
Glad that you like it.@@kevinegandrumsandmusic
