This makes learning so much easier for the rudiments i need to know.
For those who don’t know, this rudiment is used by Mitch Mitchel in Jimi Hendrix’s Fire. There are other songs he uses it in - but if you figure out how to use it in Fire I think it can open up your expression a bit more. It’s become one of my favorite licks anyways - it’s a good way to interchange 3 single strokes in (1/16ths) into 4 single strokes in the same time.

Though this is 10 years later, my teacher introduced this to me and it's super helpful. I can't get passed diamond so I got to keep practicing. Thank you so much for the video.

The only rudiment I struggle starting with the right hand... Got to the last level of diamond starting with the left one. Easy.

I can't read music...can anyone please explain to me what does the number 3 represent on top of the first 3 strokes. Why is it there???

first try got to begin platinum the speed saint the problem but giving my left hand the lead trips me out
This is probably the easiest one for me to finish. The other ones I have to tryhard to finish them

If you’re not alternating then it’s not even a single stroke
