My diffuser finally showed up today. I bust my hand up getting those damn rivets off lol. I got new diffuser clipped on, but I have to drill holes... Did yours already come with holes?
Lol, Yeah man. Taking those rivots off was a bit of a hassle. And no, Mine didnt come with holes. I had to drill but it wasnt hard at all.
Orderd the same one from the link amd it diesnt fit. The top tabs dont line up with the slits in the bumper unless i add more slits
So this one will go over the square tips one? Putting 5 inch tips on mine but I got the square diffuser I ordered one and it didn’t fit right so I just bought the one you have posted last night. Hopefully it works.
You take the square tip diffuser off & put the new circle diffuser on. It will fit your 5 inch tips 👌🏾 will fit perfect actually!
Is that a just a rt? I was trying for a 17 rt and wasn’t sure if I could take the oval tips off so I can get the circle diffuser and circle pips come out
Yessir, its a R/T... Those oval tips will easily come off if you take off all the rivots. will look much better with circular tips 🔥

Was those screws he put in the diffuser or bolts ? Curious because mine came off and now have to find a way to better secure it
Those were rivots. Theres just different types of rivots. Take one off the bumper, take it to Autozone or O-riellys to buy those same rivots. Should be plastic. Easy to put back on
Nice job man, Going to do mine tomorrow morning the two rivets on the end where those easy to pry out? They look a little different than the standard ones you can just pry off

CanYouHemi thanks, were you able to just pry those two off? The 4 plugs on the bottom of the diffuser are easy but the two near the exhaust tips are confusing me haha. Any advice on how to remove those two?

Question... i notice your car being an rt doesn't have the rear bumper flares/air vents (don't know specific name of what they're called) anyway my OEM diffuser looks like your. My question is on the market can I order one that shows a picture with a car that has those "air vent pockets" such as of a scat pack/hellcat. Do they have the same fitments. I have a 3.6 v6 2015 and im looking to find one slightly cheaper then your ebay link. If you could help with any info at all or to your knowledge it would be much appreciated man. Im hoping to have my car look as dope as that even if its a 6.... but I'm only 19 and still living the dream with the car I have thats what counts 🤣🤣
Lol yeah bro, i dont remember the vents names either, but in order to get the exact vents from a scat/hellcat, its going to cost between $600 to 900$. Theres other bumpers just like it for cheap, but wont give the same quality. like if you look on CARiD, they will cost i think it said 300, but it wont give the same quality as the excual/real scatpack hellcat bumper. or you can get just the vents and put them on the side of your car, but it wont look as good. So if you want the real bumper, it will run about 600-900. i dont remember i would have to look for the exact link again. i just got a new phone 3 days ago so i lost all my links to everything. So its possible, just will run you quite a bit

It would save me alot of time if i figure out which rivet is holding it and all of it comes out lol

I had originally ordered the wrong Diffuser that only fits the SRT of my year model....Geez, so now I have to send that one back and wait on this one to come.

Im trying to look at your youtube profile pic but its too small.. but it looks like you have the same body style as mine was (Fake tips). If thats the car your trying to order a diffuser for, and the one your order doesn’t fit.... Then yes, you will need this diffuser. But on ebay, they dont sell this diffuser nomore so if you hit me on any social media, i can send you a link to the one you will need to order if you charger is the one with fake tips like mine was.

Fasho, Pay attention to detail on the pictures too.. like what kind of car is the diffuser on? Scatpack/hellcat. bcuz yours dont have the side air pockets on the rear bumper like the SRT’s do.. so if the picture shows side pockets, then its the wrong one. just little details 💪🏾
RT, GT, and SXT take a v2 version. The others don’t fit. I learned the hard way. Bumper styles are different. From 2015-2021 if you have one of those models I listed you have to put in your specs to get one that fits. Runs a little more price wise.
Hey bro will the diffuser off a hellcat or Daytona fit our cars I have the same car as you but it says it won’t fit.
Nahh man, it won’t fit. It will actually be too small.. On those year model R/T’s, the back bumpers dont have those side pockets like the scatpacks & hellcats do. Those R/T’s have a V6 body style but with a hemi.. for the newer R/T’s, they now offer a GT package, but not those year models. had someone buy the diffuser for a SRT and ask why it didnt fit because they had an R/T.. So please, look at pictures before you buy. Make sure you look at details of the bumper and diffuser.

I used snips. Cut the pieces off & pulling it with the snips.
So the round tip one will fit the square tip valance?
No sir it would not, Only because those fake squre chrome tips would block the round tips from sticking out alittle. would need to get a round tip valance

At the time of this video, it was open headers. Later had An exhaust system, Think it was an SLP exhaust system

What did you screw it into ?
Whenever you pull off your old diffuser, theres rivots that you have to take off before pulling the diffuser off. Once you pull the diffuser, theres holes where the rivots were. I screwed back into those holes.

Not at all. You can use the same rivots if you don’t break them off or buy some just like those. Some companies may even supply you with rivots or screws. In my case, they supplied me with screws so i broke the old rivots off.

No sir, 2015+
How many clips does it have?
10 at the top, to connect to the bumper, and 6 on the bottom (bottom need to be drilled first before putting rivots/screws)

i would say, as long as they are in the right spots that they need to be in, then you should be good. But if it doesnt line up, then send it back for a refund. Theres different diffusers. maybe you ordered the scatpack/hellcat diffuser? Because those bumpers are different and maybe you need the right one that actually say (R/T 5.7)

Yessir, i do think it does ! What i ordered it off of said it fits up to a 18 👍🏾 if you have scatpack bumper, will not fit. Have basic R/T bumper like mine, it will fit!
