I was so focused on swapping out the brothers that it didn't occur to me to use Aces ability to play Sabo from Hand or wait another turn to use Luffys ability and trash the life card from Ace you would have lost anyway. makes so much sense now
Happy to hear it helped! Yeah Ace's ability gives you so many more lines than just play 2 cost cheat in 5 cost. It gives the 5 costs that aren't Ace SOOOO much more play in your hand
@@JoyBoysTCG yeah tbh many deck guides said you don't want big brothers in your hand in any case but I actually think Sabo does way better in your hand than in your life cards if you wanna use his ability effectively
Great video, loving your stuff! I'm a fairly new player, bought the Yamato starter and waiting for three brothers to be delivered so it's a great way for me to see what deck investments are best! Can't wait to see the Sabo deck!
@JoyBoysTCG you're a good man! I'm leaning towards Luffy leader currently but not sure I want to take the financial plunge on Gecko and Hiyori. Would be cool to maybe see a comparison between the three leaders, what deck is most effective and what is most expensive to build!
@@XDChurchy I can tell you already from looking at competitive Data that Luffy is far and away the best one. The financial plunge represents how powerful and thus in demand those cards are (since they are all new cards anyway not old out of print ones) and are overall reflective of how much they give to the deck compared to the others. The Ace in OP07 is a 10 drop yellow that gains rush. IDK what blocker Ace you're talking about, but we were discussing specifically 5 cost options we can get off the 2 drop brothers, in this case for Blue Yellow Ace, 5 cost blue or yellow Ace/Sabo/Luffy, of which there are no blues until op08

Spade is right there is quite literally a five drop blue ace coming out in op07 that looks quite good, particularly as it lets you stack your card draws in upcoming turns
I’m brand new to the Game! I was given the new 3 brothers deck and then I bought my own. If I have no other cards outside of the deck do you still see it viable?
You'll definitely need blue interaction cards to make Ace viable. I think Luffy is the most viable without any other cards added IMO. Sabo you certainly need a lot of adds
oooo that's a hard one. There's no catch all replacement in every way. Makino is a good cheap life manipulator that is also a 2k counter. The only way to add life in a good way like Hiyoria is probably with the Newgate from the deck.
