This video hit home for me. As a disabled man with cerebral palsy, my childhood memories (in school) were somewhat painful. Nah, I didn't get beat up or anything. It was just kids sticking their foot out in front of me to make me fall down...or getting called "crippled boy" from almost every girl I ever liked...my biggest wall was that no girl wanted to date the cripple.. But then I grew up. I also realized those girls grew up too. Judging people by their looks ain't a good look for not even a half decent adult.

When I was in 3rd grade, my teacher announced to the class that a new student named Brian will arrive tomorrow. She told the class that he was in a fire. He has scars on his face. She told us to treat him with kindness and to welcome him. Brian had a lot more scars than Rocky. Brian had an outgoing personality. He became the most popular boy in elementary school. It all started with a teacher saying to choose kindness. I totally agree with you, Luis. It is important to be kind to everyone. You never know what struggles a person is facing in their life.

Finally! An episode with a blind person in it! I was starting to feel left out. I’m visually impaired not blind, but I used to use a cane although I refuse to now. Admittedly, I should probably start using it again. I have Lebers congenital amnaurosis if you want to look it up. It’s a very rare eye condition. There are no surgeries, glasses, or contact lenses that can improve my vision. I also have nystagmus and stigmatism. Also, if I get hit on the head hard enough, my retinas will detach and I’ll lose my vision completely forever. I’m clumsy, so I don’t know how that hasn’t happened yet because I’ve hit my head a lot. I guess I’m hardheaded lol

The stigma that people who are home educated don't have exposure to the real world is incredibly untrue, the same goes for the same when it comes to being socialized. Yes, some people may not teach correctly but it's very few and they really give a bad name to homeschooling. I was home educated and I do the same with my son. My mom made certian I was exposed to the real world and taught me how to properly navigate it as well as making sure I was socialized and how to fend for myself. I was also taught the upmost respect for others especially my elders and I teach my son the same thing. Not only was I taught this but so we're all my homeschool friends and we were also taught a healthy respect for the "real" world and how to respectful navigate it we were taught how to handle good and bad situations the right way and to always use love and respect in doing so. There is not one hone educated person I know who was not taught this. The few who don't home educate right give us a bad name, were not just taught the core subjects like math and science were also taught how to fend for ourselves in the event something bad ever happens, we have hurricanes where I live and I was taught coping skills and also taught survival skills for any situation, how to raise or grow my own food & survival skills how to find food and water when there's no other sources. I don't claim to be better then others because I'm not but my point is so many are not educated on home education and so many think we are not smart or don't know certian things or about real life. I say this in the most respectful way and am not trying to be mean either I just want to educate others I love these videos I just don't want others to judge the reality of home education.
i legit got chills at the part when they ate lunch i was bullied in freshman year alot but once i found this girl who actually cared and appreciated me everything changed at that moment its 6 yrs later and we're still together (engaged to be specific) and i couldn't be happier now

The home school message is very wrong! Home schooled children tend to have a much more rounded school experience with lots of socialization and most go on to higher institutions of learning with many scholarships.
IKR, as a home schooled kid myself I can confirm that. It can make you sheltered but in some respects it can make you more independent and teach you to deal with your own education, with can actually help you in the long run when applying for university or other courses.

Both my nephews were home-schooled and they turned out just fine. My oldest nephew has a job a car and real-world responsibilities that he takes care of with no complaints whatsoever. Also with the way school systems are nowadays you're better off to homeschool your kids.

I have always been short, and I used to be a bit thinner. In P.E., (Physical Education), I was always chosen last in being in the class softball teams. I was even picked on and messed around with. After a few months of practice with cousins, I learned how to hit homeruns. After I hit homeruns numerous times in P.E., kids stopped being rude and picking on me.
Ok for one I have been homeschooled my whole life and it does teach you about the outside world. Two to anyone that thinks you can’t make friends while being homeschooled you can.

I have always been short, and I used to be a bit thinner. In P.E., (Physical Education), I was always chosen last in being in the class softball teams. I was even picked on and messed around with. After a few months of practice with cousins, I learned how to hit homeruns. After I hit homeruns numerous times in P.E., kids stopped being rude and picking on me.

Ok for one I have been homeschooled my whole life and it does teach you about the outside world. Two to anyone that thinks you can’t make friends while being homeschooled you can.
