Not just that, they are TRUE FANS of the people they are imitating. Most of these queens grew up idolizing them. I know I did. And I'm just so rando who watches a lot of TV. LOL!

I wish BendeLa's Meggie Smith was as shady as The actual Meggie.
The difference from other drag queens is that Ben didn't use Smith's quotations to make her performance fabulous, she just went with a flow, cleverly adapting to situations (like with Trinity). This, her mannerism and the way of talking convinced us enough to believe that we actually watched Maggie Smith.

DeLa is the best celebrity impersonator not only b/c of the uncanny similarities, but b/c she adds another unique layer to the comedy-she’s a master improviser. She transforms, which is what a good character actor does!

she's extremely funny! I went to one of her shows, "Inferno a gogo", and let me tell you I never had more fun in one night in my life. It was HILARIOUS. I can't recommend her shows enough, worth every penny!

They obviously haven’t seen Downton Maggie Smith is honestly one of the reasons that show is my favorite show ever. She’s such a scene stealer 😊
Chad as Cher is the most accurate not only visually but with all her references.

Monét's Maya Angelou was severely underrated for her season.
The tone of her voice and cadence was perfect
Love Monét, but her performance isn't that impressive when you realize she used lines from Got 2B Real.

The voice and cadence you praised is literally how Maya Angelou's character spoke in Got2BReal. Still love the Sponge Queen tho.

I think a lot of people commented this on part 1 but... i'm so grateful that you did this, i'm not from the US (and i'm a little behind when it comes to pop culture) so i literally don't know like 60% of the characters played on snatch game and this really helps to see how accurate some of the characters were. Thank you !

Snatch Game is such a clever improv exercise. Very fun and a wonderful showcase of talent. These queens did their homework.

@@tukyad.836 yes I know but still it's an underated performance becouse of all the hate Alexis recieved. When you ask a fan "which is your favorite snatch game?" most of them give you the same answers. Jinkx's little Eddie, Katya's Bjork, Alaska's Mae west, Chad's Cher, Tatiana's Britney or Dela's Maggie.
I didn't find it as funny as Sasha Velour's character. I understood the references but it just didn't feel like she was interacting with the rest of the panel like many of her competitors.

Katya’s Björk, while kind of funny, didn’t contain any real references. It was sort of “generic strange foreigner”. Bebe’s Grace Jones had the opposite problem because it was basically just word-for-word quotes from her character in Boomerang.
However, both were widely praised, so what do I know!
