Like, this has been dragged through the dirt already - concept inspiration is fine, it's a no-brainer to pair 'baking' and make-up, it's fun and cute, feminine, whatever.
But Huda literally stole the packaging, names, and promo materials from Beauty Bakery - very, very, very blatantly, without any shout out or even acknowledgment to them or the fact it happened. Plus, the formula was straight-up inferior! Insult to injury.
So many people shrug without doing their homework on this, lmao. It's not about the idea, it's about the execution and the fact it overlaps with a smaller brand is a big yikes.
Sea Earl Punch I’m fully aware of the promo execution for her product (and I’m not sure how the name or component/packaging were stolen at all since it’s not similar except for the vague words of bake and cake) and regardless I still think the entire concept of the product/collection is so ubiquitous that it only makes sense to have powders look like flours or cooking mixes and if one were to do a collection with a baking theme that they would be mixing powders together.
