- What a masterpeice, it has some of my favourite guitar moments. I used the original drums and bass for the cover but the guitars were all recorded in Pro Logic X using Positive Grid's Bias Software. It is free for trial and you can download my presets I used in the Bias Tone Cloud (even in the trial version) Search for Lambchopper and my presets will be there.

No statue falling apart?
Fair point, if my budget was a little higher - I would have done it. You know this
Yeah i know you're dedicated, still the best Metallica song imo and a great cover
LambChopper678 yes, definitely lambchopper. You're the best Metallica Cover artist on UA-cam. Awesome tone straight out!
My stepdad actually saw the tour in Ottawa. he told me all about it and the statue falling down
Saw it at the shoreline amphitheater in California. That stage was the greatest. Really I’ve never seen a better stage design.
You: " I used the original drum and bass..."
Me: There was bass in this song?
There was bass in every song from the ... And Justice for All Album, it was just dialed right back beacuse that's what Lars wanted ...
Hating on Newstead was evident from day one. It was only due to the major boost in income during the 90's that he would even bother dealing with that shit for as long as he did.
But all the other albums after AJFA with Jason had major audible bass. Especially in the Black Album.
the snare us too loud on the latest album. Lars should not be allowed in the room during mixdowns. AJFA and the new one would have both sounded better if James sent him on vacation during mixing.
If you don't feel the bass in Justice or any song on that album (their best work they will ever do), then you don't have a proper sound system. Even at a comfortable listening level some of the sections will suck the air out of your lungs. I recommend a minimum 2000 watt system- quadraphonic stereo, with dual subs being mandatory. So many people never experience music anywhere near it's full potential from lack of a proper audio playback setup.
This guy is such a good guitarist. Ultra talented.
Thank you mate
The riffs under the solo are something I never appreciated as a teenager but now listening to James underneath on Puppets and AJFA is such an amazing experience, especially the one at 5:45. \m/ \m/
Yeah that is pretty cool.
like the one in Cowboys From Hell, that riff is fucking awesome
Sorry to tell you that that is not what James plays… Sounds cool, just the wrong notes
So much of what I thought Kirk played….James played. 🤯
@@javiparis04 and justice for all ( 1988)
Cowboys from hell ( 1990)
there's something so poetic about this song and the way it's written, it feels like an anthem of some sort and the way that the riffs sound extremely angry just makes it truly feel as if there's no justice for all
bro i feel like i listen to metal mozart or something lmao
You used a Dave Mustaine Signature guitar for Metallica. Way to be a rebel😂
It is legally ,but if you using Kirk or James signature guitar in Megadeath covers policeman's kill you!
It because Dave hate metallica and metallica are not hate Dave.
@@timofeybarishevskii9188 he doesn't hate them anymore.
Timofey Barishevskii I think they’re good they get along now
@@timofeybarishevskii9188 There's a part in Kirk Hammett recent interview with GibsonTV and he talks about the 30th aniversary of Metallica and talks about Dave too.
Pink Floyd and a Metallica fan, I take my hat off to you sir :)
+Anti-Guild Productions Same here :)
Same here, though I would say more Pink Floyd then Metallica, but still a huge fan of both
+Anti-Guild Productions i like both.. they were a true musicians not like all the pop artist in this era.. sory for bad english..
can i be in the club?

absolutely nailed the tone!!
I thought the same thing. That tone is killer here.
Right 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
its right!! i'd also say the same thing!! you were just before me!!
It really is a masterpiece. The pre-chorus riff is one of the greatest things the world has ever heard tbf.
Using Dave's signature guitar to play metallica
danish hussain why not ? ....it makes the song better 😜
it makes the guitar better
Fuck a dave
Savage
@@luisbarreiros8831 Did anyone ask?
The whole album has some of the best guitar moments ever! Nice playing!
And you know Dave wrote all of it right? Lmao jk just mocking the Dave fanboys and their delusional fantasies.
I had very low hopes after hearing the beginning intro for your channel. But I feel like it was meant to be that way haha. But excellent job!!
I can't believe the price...you pay. Love it.
Justice has been done with this cover, awesome job sir =)
He really did justice alot of justice lol
does metallica cover wears pink floyd T-shirt.... classy
with dave mustaine guitar XD
Get over it jesus
thomasthecpunerd wanker
What is that white guitar that had lamb at the head? I've never seen it before.
His own Custom made guitar:)
OrthZ. That is ram,not lamb.
@@marioturkalj3126 he meant the "lamb" on the headstock
Ok.
His surname is probably lamb
Covers Metallica, wears Pink Floyd shirt, and mustaine's signature makes appearance! Love this guy
Dude! I've had a ringtone of ...AJFA for the last 3 years, and suddenly I heard the exact sample on this cover, I've been listening to your cover on my phone for years .. my mind is completely blown!
6:36 Nailed it man, I love that part.
Same!
Ive saw this video so many times during the years and it always surprises me
You (and your tone) are the absolute shit , my man. Ten thumbs up! \m/
I that read wrong
LambChopper678 Hey man, great cover. Mind if i ask you were you got that Lamb guitar? Did you build it yourself? It sounds fantastic, but i cant find it anywhere!
He created them himself, think they cost around 500$ AUD..
hahaha for a second I forgot I was watching a cover! lol bloody good job mate! It's crazy that you can get this quality of tone so easily nowadays. Awesome stuff.
Absolutely Awesome! My favorite Metallicas songs Ever! Thanks for sharing this!
I keep coming back to this album covers from you. So wow man. to witness the layers and go back to my teens is amazing lol lol. I never understood how this allbum had such a thick tone until later I figured it out This is so awesome thanks again \m/ \m/ I neeed to learn the rest of these songs lol
In an And justice for all mood today... lambchopper did not disappoint!!
That is the best solo cover I've ever heard! Spot on! I've been learning this song for years, you are a real inspiration!
Well thanks very much man, Metallica are the greatest
In my opinion, I would call this song an absolute masterpiece as all the parts just fit together so well great job man!!! 🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
how did you get that tone?, just real amp settings or digital recording ? i mean it's not easy to sound like that at live... your tone it's so similar to the album.
+marcos Romero C There's links in the description to the positive grid home page. It's all software based
marcos Romero C I used a boss heavy metal and came close.
Steve Walther what settings you Have on that pedal? Sorry my english
Agreed, the tone is killer. I figured it was software/modeling based... very good
The legimate way to get the tone with a real amp like Metallica did you can get the mesa boogie mark 2++ but it costs a few thousand bucks
Brilliant! Absolutely love it! Loving the white single cut too! Love great covers like this, helps me learn the songs by watching someone who plays it very good, cheers man!
Awesome covers, playing, technique, tones, guitars.... Subscribed!
Thank you mate, welcome
Perfect cover.
Perfect performance! Really shows how much time you've invested in your guitar playing. 10/10
the tone for the kirk hammett part is legendary!! excellent :))
I haven't seen anything better than this cover!
At first I was annoyed at you for not sliding into the main riff...but then I saw:
- rhythm cleanliness Hetfield would be proud of
- great skill in bending
- the rad job you did with the solo
- your Floyd shirt
ROCK ON DUDE! \m/ \m/
I don't think its a slide. It's a hammer on.
Obi I slide personally
TumorTaco Can you give me a time stamp of what time you are talking about?
Realy sounds not good like you forget riff
@@timofeybarishevskii9188 I think he means at 1:37
that dive bomb part at the end of the solo is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
dude nice cover!
classic tune and u have soms kickass tone
keep it metal!
Ahh a Megadeth fan as well I see. Nice Dean!
Love this guy his tone and ability are always amazing
Not a single wrong note that I could here. Awesome cover. Been trying to learn this for a while not much success. Keep rockin'.
Man the tone on both the lead and rhythm are amazing so close to the original
Which Amp model did you use in Amplitube for the heavy parts? I need to make sure and get that one haha. Oh wait, it doesn't look like you used Amplitube for this one, but I think you did on your One video. Will have to check this software out!
Dude, you play Kirk´s solos better the he does... lol... nice job, mate !!
Thank you for covering this masterpiece i appreciate your efforts man 🎶
Hey is it my idea or do you use tortex .88? Because I find it pretty difficult to play with that gauge
The best cover of AJFA I've heard on youtube man, awesome playing!
Absolutely crushed the solo 🤯🤯
Gave me a newfound appreciation for the tune! Excellent!
Wow that tone, does that come more from your actives or your "Bias Software"? cos i'm trying to get a fat tone like that
Wow. That solo. Just perfect.
Pure awsomeness.
1:56 when the guitar talks to your soul.
the base guitar is sensational , you played perfectly well.
thanks for the video,it will help me a lot.Hope to see some more from other albums,.
I've seen this solo played a few different ways and I haven't played it all the way threw myself so I probably shouldn't comment but, you leave yourself in a great position to land that dive bomb at the end. I've seen different people find that harmonic in different ways. nice one
Oh my god. I loved your signature LesPaul
Never gets old bro
Incredible!! Put a smile to my face today. Thank you, needed that :)
how in the world do you have such an awesome tone? it's like listening to the original recording
Dude that's an amazing cover. I loved it.
Bravo! Perfect sound, superb talent!
Great tone, but it kills me every time you don't hammer on the 7th in the main riff
razmossis On the raw guitar track, James didn't hammer on all the time and it is very subtle. I've been playing this song for so many years I guess it morphed a little
The little hammer-on gives the riff a lot of attitude imo. Great cover though dude
Don't make excuses; you should have hammered on. It would have the song a lot better. Good cover though.
Raymond Wilson yeah it bother me as well, more than it should I guess ^^
Here is my interpretation of you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/untZyv-mFYw/v-deo.html
I actually slide into that note, sounds more authentic to my ears.
Superbly done man. Love your guitar collection.
One of Metallica’s greatest written songs... you absolutely nailed it!!!
Well done boss!!!
Absolutely awesome and amazing! Thanks for sharing! 👍👍👍
Love the divebomb part! So epic
Bro. You nailed it. You nailed the shit out of it.
THIS COVER WILL BRING ME A JUSTICE!!!!!
im not a metalhead yet, but this song just screamed to me. By far my fav from metallica so far
Great cover I also like your guitar tone. very clear, whatever you are awesome
Good job, that was entertaining! My favorite album of all time. Made me buy a guitar back in the day!
Very nice sir but what did u use for the clean tone
Quick question I see u said u used original bass and drums. How can you load a track into your DAW and get rid of guitar tracks so you can cover like you do ? I'm new to recording and would love to know how you cover with out a band behind you ? Thanks just got mark V-25 and LOVE IT stellar amp !!! Thanks for any help
jamie hyman I didn't remove the guitar and vocals, there are isolated instrument tracks getting around. Search Metallica drum tracks on youtube then rip them I guess
Wow, awesome tone. Best cover of this track Ive seen on youtube so far, but what happened to the hammer on from D to E on the A string during the main riff? ;)
perfection man. awesome job
genialissime !! avec la gratte de Mustain !!! Propre ! good job . this is the way .
I like your LTD ... But I'M not Sure if is an Alexi-600 or an Alexi-200?
Tone is spot on bro
Super clean picking, I love it
Oh shit did you use an alienator effects pedal on that last part of the solo??? Could you tell me what pedal please I would love to know
That was the best on you tube..period. Nice work damn!!
Just thought Id also say that the tones you are getting out of Amplitube and Bias are great showcases for these products. Your youtube vids have inspired me to buy one - any thoughts I should take into consideration? Do you have a preference?
Thank you mate, Bias is the most true to live sound and tone however amplitube is great for giving a huge epic solo sound. I used bias for this whole recording and amplitube for fade to black, sanitarium and puppets. I use them both, fantastic programs
Fantastic tone mate
Which guitar is the first one??
what type of guitar was the black one on the top left?
+isaac white It's an Ltd Alexi-600. Great guitars. Really well built and sound great.
LambChopper678 ok thanks
Those riffs😱😱😱
Awesome cover man! Can you please tell me which amp you use along with its settings for that amazingly crisp distortion?
The video before this one I show you how to get this tone in Positive Grid's Bias software
Dude you did amazing on this cover you never disappoint m with your covers
Man i wish you lived in my boring town. We could jam to Metallica all day. Awesome cover, great tone, rock on!!
That was crazy dude !! Fantastic job 👌
perfect tone, really nailed it, great playing too
keep up the good work man
Badass job dude. Badass.
Man, you really do have the tone spot on. I might check out that software you reviewed a couple videos back and see what I can do with a Pantera sound. Great video as always!
You seem to love all the same music like me same favorite slayer album same best songs good job buddy
That guitar tone still slaps in 2022
This is the best ajfa tone and cover by a long shot on the web. I have Bias FX Professional. May I download and use your preset with Bias FX ?
You're a total bad ass man. Great job!
Awesome! great work as usual. Tell me one thing, since you have a few great guitars for metal, which one do you feel is the best? Which one would you buy if you could only have one (unmodified)?
If the Alexi 600 came with an EMG 81 I'd say that for sure, unmodified maybe the RR5. A mate of mine has an LTD KH602 which I helped him buy on eBay for about $600. That was perfect out of the box
LambChopper678 What is in your opinion the most difficult metallica solo? If you had to pick one.
Out of the ones I've learned I'd say Shortest Straw maybe.
LambChopper678 Shortest Straw is the hardest. The second one for me is Damage Inc maybe because im not good on tapping
mrjacob0101 A good riff to help you with your tapping is the intro to Paschendale by Iron Maiden. I found the slow tapping easy to approach and it really helped
God it's insane how close to their tone you got. I was almost thinking "No way, this is fake haha" but I know it's not. What video software did you use to split up the different parts?
Kick ass bro. You killed it on time
