Sooo....not really a range test but a test of your nerves! LOL The quality of the video is pretty good, just like you said though it is jittery. I do find quite a few video's on you tube that way. Thanks for taken the time and sharing.
Jerry B it was really good before upload. Also a lot clearer. I did some color enhancement through iMovie and it made it pop, even actually seeing everything, the landscape was bland and colorless. So I added some over saturated the video. I will be doing a full out range test once the snow lets off
For some reason 30fps causes stuttering footage, I had the same problem editing with FCPX but in Premier it didn't do it. No idea why but now I just shoot all my h video at 25p without issue.
Very interesting. What was your elevation? What's up with the horizon curvature? My TH keeps a straight horizon even when the horizon is near the top of the view. Perhaps you were so high we are seeing the curvature of the earth! (ha) You're pretty brave to fly that far with partially discharged battery.
Actually, I was wondering about your height above ground. It appears that the higher you fly, the farther the WiFi signals reach. I still don't understand the horizon curvature in your video.
Great Video, I take it you flew FPV. Did you use goggles or just use the screen on the ST16? Your a brave man, I haven't flown my H out of line of sight yet! although I did accidentally fly it into the sun once and couldn't see it, so I just hit the RTH switch and waited for it to come into view before taking over control again and manually landing it.
+Wesley Benson I've bought Yuneec's Skyview FPV Goggles and I must say I'm very impressed with them. In my opinion the image with them is clearer than the ST16's screen. Resolution is 720x1280. Well worth the price.
Video is jittery and I have no idea why. Origami file was constant 30fps

+PIXMO PRODUCTIONS I had that issue with a slower ad card. Switched to a U3 card and the problem was solved
Thats because its 30fps lol

Rubik3x it was not my best choice haha. My elevation was about 1300ft asl

Rubik3x I don't get the curvature either. I was between 150-250 iirc
I like flying mine straight up and looking around haven't built the nerve up to fly away from a far.its not the fall it's the sudden STOP.
swaldoski you just go up? You should buy a balloon.

+David Morgan I flew using the screen on the ST16. I'm trying to get a hold of a HDMI to micro HDMI for my Dominator v2s
Wesley Burson you can buy a adapter I suggest you get one if you can with a L shaped angle less strain on the HDMI INPUT on the board.

IF I GET 2300 FEET ON MINE I AM LUCKY
