The "honor and privilege'" was all mine and, I'm fairly certain, anyone who listened to this. I was, and still am, at a loss for words to adequately express the range of emotions that your voice brings. I picture in my mind's eye the lament of countless parents anguishing over their sons or daughters in harms way in some foreign land not knowing how or when they will return all while listening to your your voice and the beautiful piano. It's difficult to type through the tears. Amazing.

Bring Him Home, to me, is a such a beautiful expression of a parent's heart for their child which is poured out to God in prayer. You interpreted that heart beautifully. I thank God for the gifts He has given you, of a skilled voice and the ability to interpret in a way that touches the emotions of the listener and honors the songwriter(s). And I can't tell you how many times, when they were ill or in danger, I have prayed to God to let them be, let them live. Take me instead.... This is a timeless expression of love.

Austin, I used to go to Washington, DC every year for meetings for the families of those POW and MIA. at the yearly dinner, they always had someone singing this song, bringing tears to every eye in the house!!! it has such a powerful meaning, especially for those families that are still awaiting answers on their missing man!! I have since left that family but still hold those Americans missing in action very close to my heart. you sang this song beautifully and with such emotion and grace, I'm sure Gary Morris would approve! I know I do! thank you for your touching gift called your voice!

I've been waiting years for Austin to do this song in a studio setting. I'm so excited that I couldn't sleep last night. There will be no disappointing me.
When my grandson was missing for nearly 3 months, I played this song constantly, praying that the Lord would hear my cry through this divine music - AND HE DID! There are still things to overcome, but having him home was the answer to my prayer and this song helped me get through it. I appreciate that you recorded it as the youtube renditions were not nearly as clear. I would love to hear Home Free do this in the studio with all of the voices. Thank you so much. This song maintained my sanity through an otherwise frightful time. I am a supporter of Austin, Tim and Home Free.

Austin...Oh my gosh. I cant possibly put into words how deeply this touched me. This is my favorite piece from "Les Miserable" but it is SO much more than that to me. 3 years ago when my (only)son left to become a Marine, I missed him so terribly. I believe I cried every day for 3 weeks lol. I heard an instrumental rendition of this by "The Piano Guys", and couldn't listen to it for a little while. I listened to Home Free religiously even then and came across you singing it LIVE at a HF concert. I was floored!! Yes...I cried but it was a healing cry. THANK YOU!! I still cry every time I hear you sing it. This rendition was breathtaking. It was beyond beautiful. I had chills but it was the wave of feeling in my abdomen and chest that got me... almost like a kick in the gut, but in a good way. The tears were grateful ones. I could hear the emotion in your voice and it was incredibly moving. I'm not financially able to join your Patreon at this time, but just know that I support you in every way possible I and pray for you to be blessed as you have and continue to bless so many. As a bereaved mother of a lost son 32yrs ago, this song always gets me.
When I first noticed Austin Brown, he was seated in front, singing a Christmas carol with the rest of Home Free, in a church. He was so fresh & young and I imagined my son would sing so beautifully, also. As my eyes teared, I realized my son might've even had Austin's red hair, as was mine so long ago.
Now, Austin sings this song... of all songs. I'm lost in a puddle of tears.
