Funny observation I noticed with one in particular... Brit Marling started off in your typical gorgeous Hollywood talk show fit for her first appearance with Craig. But as time wore on (and her undeniable intellect wore on his usual pervy tropes), her second fit was designed (as she said in some form) to not be distracting. She obviously admittedly did underestimate Craig's affinity for a good schoolgirl look but she did attempt to keep the focus on their great conversation. By the third show, she tried to leave nothing for him to work with with the still great plain white dress. And that one finally worked. I’m not familiar with evangelize but she too is witty , charming, not defensive, seems to genuinely enjoy herself with Krieg . The weirdest thing that happened where this show is concerned, is in 2006/2007, when this show was at the height of it's popularity. I had just binge watched the first couple of seasons in a row at my sister's house in Atlanta. I took the car to go shopping at target, and as I was at the stop sign, about to pull the car out to the main street, and a car driven by the actor who played Evangeline's boyfriend(, Dominic is the actors first name), drove right past me, slowly as it was traffic hour and the main road is just two lanes--one in each direction. I pulled out behind him ,in disbelief, then pulled up next to him to make a right turn at the red light intersection; and gawked at him to confirm that it was actually him. And it was. He looked over towards me at least twice, but each time I would look away quickly before our eyes met.Lol! Because, it's not as if he owed anyone an explanation for driving around in public, but I'm sure that was the exact look on my face..and had I had the opportunityti speak,, that's the most likely thing that would have come out of my mouth. LOL! It was just such a bizarre coincidence.

Craig was the perfect talk show host... He immediately saw where she was trying to go and either saved her or encouraged her just enough... Why tf did is he no longer hosting?
He got bored. These clips are amazing but there was a lot of filler in between the interviews, if you watched it live you'd see all the ad breaks and topical sections. Maybe he'll land an interviewer job but it would have to be late night or Netflix.

As a talk show host, he was the quickest whit, conversation flowed, never upstaged his guests, nor laughs at their expense, nor snide put downs... Johnny was the only other one that did all that... It was a much different show than Johnny's ... but puts him in great company. None of the rest have been close. Miss both of them.

The weirdest thing that happened where this show is concerned, is in 2006/2007, when this show was at the height of it's popularity. I had just binge watched the first couple of seasons in a row at my sister's house in Atlanta. I took the car to go shopping at target, and as I was at the stop sign, about to pull the car out to the main street, and a car driven by the actor who played Evangeline's boyfriend(, Dominic is the actors first name), drove right past me, slowly as it was traffic hour and the main road is just two lanes--one in each direction. I pulled out behind him ,in disbelief, then pulled up next to him to make a right turn at the red light intersection; and gawked at him to confirm that it was actually him. And it was. He looked over towards me at least twice, but each time I would look away quickly before our eyes met.Lol! Because, it's not as if he owed anyone an explanation for driving around in public, but I'm sure that was the exact look on my face..and had I had the opportunityti speak,, that's the most likely thing that would have come out of my mouth. LOL!
