It appears so, I'm not sure what's going on with that chorus pedal, it sounds like a phase shifter, maybe it is. They play things a little different than Kurt played them live, the fingerings of certain chords and things, but at that point I am just nick picking. these guys are good. lol

These guys aren’t bad but if you take away the imitating look away they are just another cover band. He doesn’t sound like Kurt at all. Totallyyyyyyy different voices. The look tricks you.

I saw this tribute band a couple months ago at House of Blues, amazing
the crowd kept calling the guy who played kurt 'Jared Leto and the nirvana experience' because his hair was shoulder length and he looked like Jared lol! A Soundgarden and Pearl Jam tribute opened up for them, such a bloody good show
They even do the mistakes of the guitar lol

+Tony Casella there's a lot out there. only thing I'm thinking and trust me I'm a musician for 22 years I'm trying to be constructive, it's missing that Dave Grohl heavy-hitting drum sound. I read a comment from the drummer saying he was nervous, I would be too! I want to check out some of your other videos. But either way I would say this is the best Nirvana cover band I've seen on UA-cam. Cheers mate from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
Yeah I get the nervousness the show films live just like SNL, I've been to a few of there tapings, theres no redos or start overs

Very nice job! Yes, it's right, maybe drummer should play more loud, maybe scream of the vocalist is not so emotional and pathos as Kurt but I think it's still the best tribute band of Nirvana which I ever heard! Please, come and play in Europe, especially in Poland :) There are many fans of Nirvana :)

I was at this show, cool that it was posted on UA-cam, never knew anyone who has the AXS channel. Great show was one of my favorite of the 10 or so tapings I went to, the Alice Cooper and Beatles tribute shows at the Roxy were really good to.
Cool fact Amy Adams was at the show also, her brother is married to the shows host.

I agree, I don't like when Nirvana tributes try to sound like Kurt did. It's nice to see someone who just lets themselves be. I also despise the dressing up like them, they do a pretty good job of making it seem like it's just for fun. I think they can hold their own against any other Nirvana tribute that I've seen, and I've seen a lot. I actively look for good ones, I want to do a song or two created all by different musicians, will start with Nirvana lol

He has the posture, poise and mannerisms of Cobain. His guitar playing is totally Cobainesque. Unfortunately, his voice - and especially his inability to scream like Kurt at 33:00 ruined the experience for me. )-; I think the bass player has a striking resemblance to Pat Smear. (-:

for the vocals it was good, the stage presence great...but Kurt never did stayed on key..and sad fact is he sung how he did because he was trying to hurt his vocals on purpose...but keep it going :)
agree that the drummer needs to let rip. shows how hard Grohl used to smash the shit out of his kit. prob exhausting to play like that but thats why hes one of the best drummers of all time
the set list is wrong.. i flipped thru... but i came to "dumb" and its not listed. there seems to be theres gonna be more cause i was cllose to end and a lot of time is left but at very least you forgot to list dumb

This guy does a pretty good job of imitating Kurt but an important detail is missing - Kurt was left handed.
Douchy McDouche he was actually right handed he just played left because he wanted to have more flexibility across the fretboard
You guys are insanely good. I can't believe how close the Kurt voice/look is, but all of the stage movements and mannerisms are perfect.

The thing about Kurt that made the guy so awesome was that he couldn't sing lol but he had a voice that set a trend for grunge. Concidering Kurt had a one of a kind type thing goin on I think this guy did a decent job

I Think Tribute cobain ha s the easiest job in the world his job is to look like the real Thing Act like the real Thing and Copy the voice but at Everything else he HAS TO SUCK and seeing him smash the guitar Leads me to believe that Thing pays well
