- (NOTE UPDATE: The 2013 version of the show recorded in Vegas is at • Trans-Siberian Orchest... ) On Sunday, December 2nd, 2012, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (West group) performed at the Orleans in Las Vegas, Nevada, during their "The Lost Christmas Eve" tour. This is their complete performance (minus narration). Watch this "fan video" recorded by Jason "Stix" Buckley. Video in full 1080p HD from the fourth row. Video copyright 2012 STIX FX Entertainment (www.stixfx.com).
whoever thumbs down this video is crazy the quality of this video and the orchestra is absolutly amazing
TSO puts on one of the GREATEST rock and roll stage shows in this decade. I would rank this right up there with the KISS Hot In The Shade stage and the Motley Crue "The Tour" stage.
I was pretty surprised to see how many one star reviews this got on Ticketmaster. The reason why? People are fucking stupid. If only these people complaining that it was "too loud" or "too 1980s" would do a little goddamn research into what Trans Siberian Orchestra really is, It's not an "orchestra" in the conventional sense AT ALL. Trans Siberian Orchestra is a progressive heavy metal band that plays holiday music.
Love TSO. Going to see them on 12/21. Taking my 80 year old mother in law. It's her birthday that very day. Also, my Marine son is coming home that day. He's coming as well. Been deployed 4 times. This will be a treat for him. This is our 11th year coming to see TSO. It's my birthday as well. It's gonna be a great day!!!!!!!!!
Miss these concerts! ❤
I have been lucky enough to go to 6 years of their concerts here. They are awesome!!
Not only do rock music and classical music meet and embrace but make love giving birth to an amazing pyrotechnic display and some of the most incredible variations on some popular classics by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Bach and many more. Since discovering TSO several years ago I have been hooked. Thanks for the upload, Stix
I make no promises that this is 100% accurate, but it's the best I could do.

Awesome video quality. Hard to believe that wasnt recorded with professional video recorder/camera. Audio was just as impressive. Thanks for the video from those of us who cannot make it to Vegas!
Thank you for posting this! I'm one of those weird people who's WAY into music theory, and I'm here to tell you that TSO pushes it beyond belief. Their sheer talent is just mind-boggling, their stage production speaks for itself, and their poetry leaves nothing to be desired. Every music major in the world would do well to study how they do what they do; they're just THAT good. Thanks again, it's great to see this level of greatness.
Heard them November 14th, 2013. "WOW" just doesn't do it justice! This concert just plain will blow you out of your seats! It is like being *inside* a fireworks display! Lots of new effects and props along with the same powerful music that TSO is famous for. I was about 70 feet away from the stage but when the flames went off, I could still feel them on my face! I hope they come back soon.
Would a four year old be ok seeing this show? He loves lights and sounds and such but I'm worried it may be too much all at once. Glad you had fun!
Adria Riley
Earplugs! I just was at the Denver show last night and it was loud for me - glad I brought mine.
I recommend you take earplugs, as at about 60 feet away from the stage, sections were a little too loud for unprotected ears. For some of the vocals, I didn't use the earplugs, but for other songs, I had to. Even with the earplugs, the performances were great and if they come back to Lincoln in the future, I will probably go once again.
I thank the people that put wonderful video's for us to enjoy. I have gone to the TSO concerts here for 6 years in a row, can't go this time, so again thank you.
I just want to thank the person who uploaded this incredible video. I've not seen TSO live (yet), and this video was so well done that it captured some of the magic.
Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a great 2014!
Brilliant,brilliant love the show..what showmanship
Great recording! I just played it at my Christmas party and we have converts who are wanting to get tickets for the Buffalo show on the 28th,,,,,being that it is the closest show to Toronto! Thanks
I have been a fan for YEARS and for the first time in over a decade I wont have the opportunity to see them live. This is a nice alternative. Feeling the Christmas Spirit now. Thank you!
I'm so excited to see them tonight in Louisville!!
I was at this show in Las Vegas, it was very simply the BEST SHOW I have ever seen, and I have seen close to 100 shows in my life including Kiss , DIO (RIP), Ozzy and many many more. TSO is ALL about the fans and have the show to prove it. Anyone reading this do yourself a favor and go see TSO next year, they are truly AMAZING. This was the first time I had every seen them and will NEVER miss their show again.
I went to a show in December 2008,2011, and 2013 and I'm glad I went this year cause it seemed better than before and it's the last year they are doing the lost Christmas Eve tour and they are doing a new one next year

Thx for recording and sharing this awesome show....I've done this...it is extremely tiring and you did it beautifully! CHEERS!!!
Thank you so much for sharing. Great job filming it. I went about 6 years ago and am going again this Thursday night. I'm soooooo excited!!
My 3 year old watches this video everyday....I can't wait to take him to the concert this December. They are awesome.
Very impressed with the quality of your video. Great sound not over modulated like some. Job well done Styx, I can not wait for Nov. 21 to roll around, I hope Tommy is still on west tour.
I just saw TSO yesterday in Greensboro NC, and loved it ALL the lights the music. TSO shows are great
I LOVE THEM!!!! Went to their show, the last stop on their 2013 tour, at the AA Center in Dallas, TX. You will never be disappointed with this show!!! i can't wait to see them this year. Hopefully they come back to Dallas, and their show is going to be ALL NEW!!!!!!!
I really like this group and there music,it's very fun and enjoyable,I listen to them every year.
STIX, thank you for capturing this for everyone to enjoy =) My husband and I are going again this December, and we cannot wait!!! It's one of our favorite parts of the holiday season!
Thank you for putting this together!!!!!
Excellent quality! Thank you for sharing!
Just paid for my tickets to see TSO at the Orleans in Las Vegas on November 30! OMG I can't believe I'm finally going, I've been wanting this for years! YAY!
Amazing! Thank you so much for posting this!
Thanks for adding this!!! I cant believe i missed the show :'(
AWESOME!! A totally excellent quality audio and video!!!
Thank you so much for sharing!!
I was beyond elated when meeting and talking with each TSO member at a "meet and greet" in Pittsburgh PA!! (even asked for and was given a guitar pick :-) A night that will top the forever highs in pages of my mind
Rich, I used the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX9V. I have since upgraded to the DSC-HX50V and love it. Video is basically the same between both, but the HX50V allows me to WiFi photos from the camera direct to my phone so I can do immediate uploading (works good for my business with motorsports clients so I can get a great speed shot and upload it to social media). Also, the 50V allows for taking snapshots while filming.
Saw TSO for first time 12/7/13, Mohegan Sun Arena, PA,, A must see!! Amazing Show!!
THIS is the kind of music you can turn on, close your eyes, and escape to. God bless those who play it and those who share it.
My first TSO concert was at the Germain Arena in Ft. Myers, Florida when they did Beethoven's Last Night. I was 12 rows from the action. It was just amazing. I've got tickets to see them in Philly on the 21st and I'm so excited!!
Fantastic perfomance, i love TSO. Thanks for sharing.
Hoorah! Just introduced my nephew to them tonight and he's all hyped now. Taking him & his bro to go see them on 12/23 here in STL. :)
thank you for posting this! it awesome!!!!
I've been able to see them 7 times so far. Three times with the West Coast tour and four times with the East Coast tour. Can't wait to see them this year! TSO rocks!
Thank you. GREAT videos and quality!!!
Thanks for posting this.
Just saw them last night in Wilkes-Barre, PA. STELLAR!!! The only thing I regret is that I can't see them for the first time ever, again.
Yeah, same show. The only thing I didn't like was the parking lot. Not too oraganised.
SchizoidMan100 Sorry to whoever I cut off going out off the parking lot. I had to work 3rd shift ~ Best concert experience money can buy. Worth the extra money for good seats.
I would have settled for Keystone Cops if they would have tried to direct traffic in the parking lot.
Saw this show in Glendale (Phoenix), Arizona a couple days ago. LOVED IT!!! Got to meet all of them too! :P
Thanks so much for posting this! You do great work!
i've seen east and west and i prefer the west crew . don't get me wrong , both are a must see !
This is tremendous. thanks Stix. I go almost every year to their NJ show, its a nice change of pace to see their eastern band. Love it.
To the naysayers who believe them to be pre-recorded: lets just say this- it's not.
You've been influenced far too much by the pop/dancing crew and figures who are more interested in entertainment then music.
Bands like these guys and other forms of prog-rock/rock-opera bands have true unadulterated talent which has been developed by years and years of perfecting. Sure they mess up sometimes but that's part of the fun...the realism of it and excitement all of it brings.
As for the light and pyrotechnics- you have to see it in person to believe it and is ofcourse, way better than seen on this video.
i actually meant their 'western' band. obviously since being in NJ i see their eastern band every year.
I LOVE TSO! I've seen every concert since 2006 except last year. But I'm going to see them this year. I can't wait to see them again.
Also the past two times I've gone I've had floor seats and this last time I was literally 4 rows from the stage
My girlfriend and I were at this concert. It was an early Birthday present for me from her. I must say it was the best performance I've ever seen of anyone ever. I was in awe the whole time with chills up and down my spine. It was incredible and we had an awesome time that evening.
When I went they transitioned from Requiem the 5th into Carol of the Bells finale, with all the fire, elevating platforms, insane light show, it was an experience I'll never forget!
Wow just WOW!!! I am speechless really, no words to describe this piece, all I know is I have missed out.... true music and interpretation is flawless, mini opera, broadway, rock, blues and jazz, all with a twist. I was moved to tears.
Thanks Stix! Awesome video :)
EXCELLENT!! EXCELLENT!! TSO Rocks. Can't wait for next season. Gotta see them live!!
Saw this show in Hamilton Canada 2012. I was blown away. :)
First time i have listened to these guys and they are fantastic WOW
I saw them last night and what a show. This is real music.
I love them.....have been to 5 or 6 of their Christmas shows!
And they played for 3 straight hours, no break, in Columbia SC last weekend!
You can rest assured they will play that on this tour, and every other tour! It's always a highlight, I've been 11 years in a row :-)
I didn't record the entire narration due to time, equipment, and arm fatigue. lol Sorry. - Stix
This is soooooooooooo amazing!!!!! Brings back my memories from last year!!!! I get to see them again in exactly 4 weeks!!!!!! I'm as excited as a little kid on Christmas morning!!!!!!!!!😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Nice job Stix. By the way I got the West dvd you and Dennis put together. Awesome
Thanks! The reason for the close-ups is due to my filming of the shows and who they are for. Many people take the back-shots. I like to get emotions more, something many that sit back far do not see. On my channel, look up the TSO Columbia BLN show with Chloe Lowery singing After the Fall as I capture her emotional moment and performance, something you would never see sitting back far.
for me is the first time that i know about this show, i hope some day they come to Mexico, we would like to enjoy the show
This stage setup was the absolute very best !!! Number 2 was the giant chest that opened up and the band rose up from !❤❤❤
he had to, it was 3hrs with narration. and Stix, im pumped for this years show!
Well done STIX FX!
I had three total batteries on me for the show (one in the camera and two back-up). I believe I went into the third battery. For memory, I shot at 1920x1080 and 60 fps (reduced down for YT upload), and I used just about 22 gigs. I use SanDisk Ultra 32GB class 10. I am going to upgrade soon to the Extreme Pro, which is just a difference of write / read speed.
I'm going to the Christmas concert Dec. 3 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Bought a ticket in the Facebook pre-sale today, nine rows from the front, centre floor. I'm really looking forward to it.
Thanks for all the info. Great job.
who knew you could be a badass playing christmas music.
Going to see them now!!! Soo excited!
It may not be with professional equipment, but it was some damn good recording!
thanks for uploading! really want to go once....
whoa.. that was a trip!!
nice melody patta nee
Always an amazing show!
Thank you kindly! I would LOVE to go to a concert. This will suffice until I can actually manage to save up the money and go when they are nearby...next year or so!
Makes sense, didn't know you were working as a group on this one.
one of the best shows ever seen
Thank you , savatage
Starting at 6:18 = "as good as it gets". Thanks for uploading!
Now we need one of Christmas Eve and Other Stories. Phenomenal show!
HI. tonight we went to the show at the Orleans. talk about over the top!!! bring your earplugs because they are loud very loud. every year they get more and more over the top. this is one show you have to see if you never see any other show in your life. this is the second time we have seen them and I cant say enough. enjoy.
Saw this show in Glendale (Phx) last year, and the final performance of Lost Christmas Eve last night! WOW is just not the right word.......
The Lost Christmas Eve trilogy, part 3 was awesome and without a doubt, the best show!
Really bummed I am going to miss this show tomorrow in Sacramento CA
Thier coming to my city in like 13 days. So excited!!
I went to this concert, and I can only say one thing-AWSOME!!!!!!!!
Simply....AWESOME!!!!!
And another thing... If I were one of the great Classical composers, I'd probably be jealous. I'd probably listen to their renditions of my music and say "Damn! Why didn't I think of that?" Listen to the sheer exuberance that bursts through their version of "Ode to Joy" ("A Last Illusion," Beethoven's Last Night) and you'll see what I mean. They've captured Beethoven's vision of joy in a way no other band has done. Simply magnificent.
Last song = Greatest Christmas song EVER!!!
My God I'am so glad that I got to know TSO its the for the legacy of Paul 'O Neill that this project most go on ive got the Beethoven's last night cd and its such a greath album TSO has a lot of greath singers Live and on the records if Criss Olivia cut play on this amazing shows * RIP
That is Nathan James, who is from the UK. Bad-to-the-bone singer! - Stix
Wow, a group that allows people to film them and share.
Absolutely bad ass
I saw these guys in Portland a few years back. Pretty cool.
they are coming to orlando on november 30 and im going to the 8:00 PM show! yay!
He's in the east-coast band. So yes, he's still in the group.
Great video, thanks for posting.. but the one gripe I have... You don't go to a TSO concert to see their faces. Would have been nice to see more of the effects than zoomed in all the way and missing out. Other than that though, good job, great job not being all shaky when zoomed in too.
Best show on this planet by far.
i hope i get to see these guys this year cause i haven't been able to see them the past few years :( which made me really sad so I'm hoping this year will be good (:
