I’ve watched a lot videos describing what a Venus in Capricorn placement embodies and this must be one of the most detailed breakdown of the placement. I genuinely appreciate the effort put into the background research. Having my Venus, Mars and Neptune in Capricorn makes me come off as stern at a very young age. Thank you for the break down!
As a Venus in Capricorn man, i can say a lot of my relationships came at some sort of price, and it always involved money and doing a lot of work in order to have that relationship. I heard that having Venus in Capricorn is similar to having Venus in Virgo because it involves a lot of hard work in order to maintain it. Is it really worth it? Im kind of happier being alone, detached, and not making commitments to people.
Venus and Moon in Capricorn woman here who has reached a point in life where I will not put in undue and imbalanced ’effort’ to dating and relationships. If it feels like too much work and investment then it’s not worth it. Knowing your own worth becomes important because a Venus in Cap can ultimately rise above dependence on others to elevate us or make us feel more valued. Let’s get real: once you have learned to value yourself (not at all narcissistic BTW that’s NOT healthy) your relationships will improve. A key word also here is BOUNDARIES.
I have my Venus in Capricorn, in the 7th house. I am now 56 years old. My relationships, of all types have definitely been a source of intense internal pressure. But I have come through it all, just like the diamond metaphor. I am now robust, resilient, can’t be scratched but am I transparent about my many facets. I am very aware of my boundaries, expect others to take responsibility for themselves and am focused on how I want to live the rest of my life. Others say they feel very comfortable in my presence, I think this is because I am so comfortable with myself and understand we are all where we are meant to be at this time…. I also have my sun in the 8th house (Pisces)…. Thanks for a great explanation of Venus in Capricorn 😊
I'm a Venus in Capricorn and, I must say, I'im impressed! This is an accurate, thorough, and, might I add, empathetic and encouraging description of what this placement is. So good I've already hit the Like button and subscribed! Thank you!
My ex girlfriend's first serious 'boyfriend' was a very wealthy man with lots of status, her second relationship a hard working man, and her third man runned a lawfirm and had a hotel. Me? I'm a free agent who lives day to day and don't have a steady income and I felt never good enough with this woman. When asked why she don't want to persue a relation with me her answer was: "because the way you live your everyday life, your 'lacking' social life". This is what she litterally said to me. That's Venus in Capricorn for ya right there LOL
She basically said you're irresponsible trash who has no ambition, status, or a prosperous future. In the most polite and diplomatic of ways. Good for her for knowing how to escape what she doesn't like.
Despite definitely being attracted to people with status, a lot of people I know with Venus in Capricorn I have seen be attracted to people that I would call "losers" for lack of a better term lmfao. I have just seen a lot of people with Venus in Capricorn date people who are down on their luck but working really hard. Or people that show a lot of potential to be a great partner but might be a bit of a "project." And when people see these sorts of "projects" a Venus in Capricorn might date they have the sort of reaction like "You like THEM?" As if the Venus in Capricorn can see the value in someone that might need a little work. My Mom actually has this placement and growing up always told me that "You have to kiss a lot of frogs" which looking back on it I view as a Venus in Capricorn dating someone they might view as needing a bit of work, or someone they feel like they can help grow into their ideal partner, only to have Saturn come through and show them that the person actually just is a frog lol. I've seen these people come up with long lists of all the standards they have and then still date weirdos lmfao. So I sort of view the placement of Venus in Capricorn generally as someone who is attached to workers. People who have obtained status through work or people that they see a lot of potential in due to their work ethic or even people that they see value in that might need a lot of work. Just my person interpretation tho. My Mom has dated millionaires and guys in their 40s living with their parents for one reason or another. And not much in between lol.
This is definitely true but it also depends on your other aspects. I usually date rich men because both my mars and Venus are in Capricorn in my first house. I can’t be with someone who has no work ethic so most of my partners are successful. Plus I like lavish and expensive things so my partner must reach that. Depending on your mars you might be different.
Venus in Capricorn but sun in Aquarius couldn’t relate more to your comment. Although for me it’s really not about wealth, I feel like people with goals and hard workers is the pattern more, because I also love someone who brings me the balance of pursuing and hoping to have enough not millions, if that makes sense.
A lot of this hits home. Longevity, commitment, seriousness, maturity etc very true for me. The bit about looking at "status" in others in light of what it will do for my own "status" however was way off the mark for me. If anything, it's opposite for me. Status having little meaning for me and what people within their core have (not at the surface) being the main driver. I actually find the idea of (seeking to form relationships with those holding some "status" to boost my own) so revolting and weak. I'd struggle to form relationships with those who do that, nevermind myself doing that. I wonder what is bringing that effect to my Venus Capricorn. It's in 8th house. May be that?
My experience with a man with this aspect, it was all about him. Very stubborn with his beliefs, critical and judgemental. Feelings for him were a kind of weakness that should not be expressed.
since I make skits to go along with these videos it's a bit much for me to put out two videos a week, but I'm eager to wrap up this series so I'm hoping to knock out the last few placements in this series within the next month!
Thank you so much for this video ! My Venus is in Capricorn (in 1st house) as my sun (also cap.) I will keep focusing on my goals but I will also work on my strong criticism in relationships matters.
