Hi, the woman at 12 Mnts basically said in Guarani: I m glad you came here and I d like that you come back with more time to spend it with us, so you can sit and have our traditional and good meals. We have food to have breakfast and to have lunch. after that you can try some desert. Paraguayan people are ver kind and hospitalary. Enjoy your days here Bro..
You've shown how knowing some of the language really helps. People open up when they hear you speaking Spanish. Well done! And thank you for having the courage to meet new people, ask questions, etc. Keep it up!
I’m currently living in Asunción! Originally from California. I recommend Cafe de Acá and Almacén del Plata for some excellent restaurants. Mbeju is a local dish that is incredible. The difference in language may also be the infusion of guarani language.
That part where you couldn't understand what the lady was talking about was about the other foods they offer, tortillas (paraguayan ones, not the ones made of corn) and chicken. Our accent is quite different because as you said we mix both languages a lot, it's accidental cause we do it all the time, it's not on purpose😅 but when we recognize foreigners we try to sound more neutral. What she said in the beginning when you asked her to speak guarani basically was: "I'm so happy you came here, next time you come back we're gonna wait for you so you spend more time with us, so you eat delicious food here. We have food for dinner and lunch and for the afternoon we also have desserts and many other delicious meals." Then she said they also have tortillas and chicken in the menu. And offered them to you in case if you wanted to buy. Edit: could help with the other translations if you'd like i can put them in another comment😁 Also usually we eat the sopa paraguaya (the one you said was similar to cornbread) with asado or other foods. It's like eating bread or yuca, which we call mandioca here.
Hi, I see you are here in Asuncion. Good to have you here brother. You need to check out Villa Mora and Mercado 4. I am from the UK I have been here for 6 months. Let me know if you need some pointers to get around town. I never expected you to pick this spot. This is where we all come to disappear. Lol!
Hey man, paraguayian here. I think you should visit the parts around Recoleta, Villamorra and Ycua Sati, those are pretty commercial but really beautiful too
I love this content! Regarding Spanish, we have different types of accents here, and we also speak Guarani, so it can be hard to understand everything if you're not from here!
wow, our second language is beautiful. There are more typical foods that you can try, I recommend the chipa guazu, I hope you can visit more places, greetings
They are interesting videos. If you like to climb a hill, you have one to the south of the city called Lambarè and next to it there is a river called Paraguay and a beautiful waterfront. Welcome.
Body cams are cheap from aliexpress. They free up your hands and people don't know that they are being recorded. Resolution is extremely good. Cheap is $20 delivered.
Wow ...reading online i was skeptical about leaving in Paraguay as a black person. But watching their interactions with you, people dont even seems to care about skin colors. ❤❤❤
Es así mismo!! No le damos importancia a ello, lo importante es que demuestren interés en nuestra cultura ( nuestras comidas y tradiciones) y lo demás viene solo, porque en verdad somos muy hospitalarios!!!
Asunción is my home base and I have yet to have a bad experience from the locals due to "race". They may ask you if you're from Brasil or Colombia first when you say US they are surprised in a good way.
En Paraguay no hay racismo.. aquí no nos fijamos en el color.. nos gustan las buenas personas, si lo eres, serás bienvenido y te sentirás como en casa..
@@naomisilveroloto Also, we put some herbs on the TERERÉ. It's called "remedio yuyo". there is a specific herb for every disease (kind of), and is part of our tradition mainly inherited fron our guaraní ancestors. The mate plant scientific name is Ilex paraguariensis.
Yeah right😂 our country PY has a pretty noticeble contrast, in this video you only saw the most "popular" or "humbler" side of it ;) where u can find everything at cheaper prices
What you see in the video is literally the part of the city that is the least pleasant to the eyes. You should see these parts in other cities in the region🙌 not everything is malls and fancy places boring

those are really nice places but he went for the most tradicional experience, something more paraguayans would go through everyday life
We love living here in PARAGUAY!! Hope you enjoyed your stay!!🙌
I’m enjoying the Paraguay vlogs. I hope you release more videos before you leave. There isn’t much videos truly exploring the country. 🇵🇾

Your videos are the perfect momentary getaway.

Great video as always my brother
I'm so glad you're safely out of the U.S. right now.
Of all the countries you’ve been to where could you settle down and live? Favorite spot
There’s something wrong with the algorithm. Your videos rarely come up in my feed.

Just wanted to know what camera do you use because when I'm recording I get looks like I'm using the wrong camera in public 🤔
Hey cool you’re back in Suramerica! I’ve been in Colombia for the past few months. 👍
You should also visit Encarnación and some other smaller cities. Each location has its own magic Even if you can't see it at first sight

Dude said that he's going in RAW 18:10. No pause, full Diddy? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wish you would explain some things in a little more detail, for example what was in the dish you were eating near the end of your video
Pira Caldo: Literally Fish soup. Paraguayan style
Hey bro going to Bolivia anytime soon?
Thanks! How many countries have you been to so far? I imagine it's difficult to have a favorite.
Anytime👊🏿. I have favorite countries but for particular things (I.e., food, things to do, retirement, etc.). It’s hard to choose 😅

The spanish of Paraguay, is one of the strangest, says a uruguayan
Sly, qhat did you drink? What "Tedede" neans? Looks like mate I suppose...
It is called Tereré, the traditional drink here in Paraguay. It's similar to mate, tereré is cold tho, it has lot of ice, mate is with hot water

nice videos, but make your videos longer please😢
Ha...you dont remember how to get out. If you got lost in this mercado, you would have to call 911 to find your way out of the mercado in Merida.
❤❤
The real tourism there is History. Little attractions for tourists, many for smugglers (Paraguay Open Economy, neighbours Not)
This is my first time seeing Asuncion and to be honest, it doesn't appear too attractive.

Deberias de ver mas videos antes de llamar aburrido a algo
Es que el se va en los lugares más baratos debe de ser para economisar más
So what was "intense? I didn't noticed anything unordinary.
Le gustó el pira caldo!!!😊
What's your favorite dish? Soup lol
I want to see videos at pizzarias
