One thing that makes me curious is that in these animations Steve seems like a role model for children, a hero or a teacher, and it is assumed that the plot of the series or movie (I don't remember) will have other young characters apart from Steve, Maybe Mojang wanted to explore an experienced Steve for a long time

It feels weird to think that the Steve in these trailers is the same Steve we've been playing with for ages, from Infdev, passing through every single update, to today. He's learning new things as time goes on, and discovering the secrets of each update, just like we do. He's been through so much, and he's lived countless adventures; he met so many people, and here he still is, today.

2:28 is actually my favorite part of this entire animation. It genuinely seems like they're just one big friend group chilling and going out on adventures together. Very wholesome.

Am I the only one that's glad that Steve isn't alone anymore? Think about it, in the beginning it was just him and an endless world with animals, villagers, and monsters. No one to really interact with. Then Alex came along which I was really happy about, now he has many friends who can join him in his new adventures. At least that's the story of Minecraft in my head. 😅
FACTS and the new characters fit pretty well here because the more players you have the more mobs will spawn

I believe it was showcased that it was a feature of the crossbow while 1.14 was still in development
I'm not even sure if Mojang storyboards these or has much input, they are animated by a seperate company entirely so that detail could definitely be on the animators side (Svep Studios)

Seeing Steve be the most prepared and experienced makes me happy
One of my favorite things about this structure is that, as it shows in the trailer, it is perfect to raid it with friends cause each player can open the same vault. (Also the difficulty increases with more people)
I like the subtle axe chop on the bulb to show that yes, the room is meant to be dark.
What the Minecraft movie could have been
We could have had an animated masterpiece. Instead we get a hybrid live action trainwreck.

He actually have a full Enchanted Netherite with Silence trim (sculk trim) at his house, but he just don't want to be too special compare to his friends so he wears iron
Style points are more important than anything dude
Don't forget, the trim is darker when put on armor of the same type. Its iron armor with an iron trim.

This is probably the most epic trailer for an update I ever saw. The animators have outdone them self.

@@Jack-Tycer Since this is probably made by a company it's likely they're using "Autodesk Maya"
It is expensive but that shouldn't discourage you from making animation. It's not entirely about the software. Animation fundamentals are more important. People animate in a lot of things, even on pencil and paper.
It's really cool that they've been using the new music in promotional stuff recently. I wonder who arranged it this time.
These trailers keep getting better and better. This one is a whole cinematic story in its own. So, so cool.
