If you love someone just tell them. It will help you grow as a person. A rejection isn't the most painfull thing in the world. Of course it hurts but if you are mature enough you can still stay friends. Nothing makes me happier than being around the person I love and seeing that person happy. That's more than enough for me.

I've told a girl I love her several times in different ways after having finally gone out with her. unfortunately for me, i guess I wasn't fun enough she ended up with someone else while letting me believe she was too busy for the second date she agreed too (she had two jobs so it was believable).
I beat my self up every day since for not being able to do better on the one date and win her over...

chicken nugget guys aren't the only ones who get put in the friend zone. I was always the best girl friend but never a girlfriend. I may get flamed and called out for admitting this, but i never dated until I was 18 and met a young man that would later become my husband. All my school years I lived in the friend-zone. My husband has honestly been my first everything and it sucked back then and had a lot of silent heartbreak, but I wouldn't change it now.
I'm fully aware that all genders can be caught in the friend zone and by no means did I intend to offend anyone. It is more of an expression than the literal meaning of "our brothers", obviously we are not all related in that sense. If I were to say "mankind" I don't mean men only, I mean all humans.
Sorry if it seemed as if I had taken offence. Truly I didn't,but I can see going back how it could be read that way.
