    Fantastic review! Love the smoothness of your voice and the way you described every part of the machine and batteries. Thank you for doing what you do.

    Thanks for the Vid!! I decided on the Shark Ionflex Duo clean 2x over the Dyson as the Ionflex has a replaceable battery, headlight on the power head, has one power head for all surfaces and flexes to get under stuff. None of these features does the Dyson have. I keep my things for a long time and I knew that I would wear out the batterys and need to purchase new ones. When the Dysons battery goes bad the unit is essentially useless and not serviceable without sending in...My Ionflex replaced a 12amp Bissell Power FOrce which is working like it was new. after vacuuming with the IonFlex the Bissell did not pick up anything more! I was shocked!! Ionflex works as well as a high rated corded models!! WOW this suckers is a game changer!

    Good review! I've had this vacuum since 2016 and I LOVE it! You touched on just about all of my favorite points. It's a very nice tool to have around the house.

    Is it supposed to be amost painfully loud? Got a very loud whine around 2khz which isn't present on the corded model.

    A lot of reviewers showed that after vacuuming carpet, debris was still stuck to the head and dropped back to the carpet after they picked up the machine. It would be more helpful if you picked up the vacuum at 5:00 so we could see if anything is still stuck down there...

    Great review as always! I enjoy your V7 vs V8 and V10 vs V11 Dyson videos. Have you thought about doing videos comparing other brands such as the shark stick vacuums VS Dyson stick vacuums? Just a thought.

      Hey Nick. I actually have not counted but I've got quite a few. I keep them around because I often use them to compare to one another. Folks often want to see comparison stuff. A collection video is an interesting idea.

    Do you feel like this deep cleans carpets as well or has as much air flow as the Dyson V8?

    • @dtz1000
      @dtz1000 6 років тому +1

      Shark is no where near as good as Dyson on carpets. Just look at the video "Shark IF250UK vs Dyson V7 total clean porridge" to see what I mean. Dyson V8 also has HEPA filter which no shark cordless has.

    • @blakaeg
      @blakaeg 6 років тому +3

      dtz1000 He's asking for facts not opinions. Doesn't sound like you have used the Shark to give that information.

    • @dtz1000
      @dtz1000 6 років тому +3

      blakaeg I not only gave a fact but I also pointed to proof for that fact. Did you even bother to look at that video I pointed to? It shows the fact that Shark duoclean cordless didn't clean carpet as well as a Dyson V7.
      Second fact I pointed to is lack of HEPA filter in all shark cordless vacuums which, by the way, was not even mentioned in the video on things he dislikes about this shark machine. So that is another relevant fact. If you can't filter out the allergens from a carpet and just pump them back out into the air, then that is not deep cleaning a carpet.
      If you can do better than what I have done here then go ahead.

    • @Pete_or_Peter4Long
      @Pete_or_Peter4Long 6 років тому

      dtz1000 I wonder how something like the Dyson V8 compares to a shark upright like the apex in terms of deep cleaning. Obviously probably not as well but the convenience of a cordless is so nice.

    • @dtz1000
      @dtz1000 6 років тому

      Silent Lucidity ASMR So you like a filter that is inferior to a HEPA filter and is not the right one for those with allergies? OK.
      I also don't recognise what you say about cleaning the filters. The filters on the Dyson are very easy to clean and the HEPA filter hardly ever needs cleaning because the other filter on the Dyson V8 is so good at its job. Look at the video "Shark IF250UK vs Dyson V7 total clean porridge" to remind yourself which one is better.

    The pet hair test around the 07:00 mark showed that the pet hair wasn’t sucked into the the debris chamber but just wrapped around the brush bar. Test failed in my view. What the video should show is how much of the hair was removed from the carpet and sucked into the debris chamber.

    I have the Duo, I sold the V8. The Shark is much,much better and get the motor pet brush head. Way better then my V8 was in just about every case except maybe looks? Subjective of course I like it but anyway the weight is the same power is killer and charging it is way,way better with replaceable batteries. Battery run time is great get the 2x! I could go on and on just saying I have experience with both and the Dyson loses!

    • @RoxanneBornilla
      @RoxanneBornilla 6 років тому +1

      Can you point me to he motor pet brush head's link? I want to give the Duo a try. But seeing that pet hair that I NEED TO REMOVE from the bristles/brush is very very turn off.

    Can you recommend an upright vacuum brand that will last 20+ years? I had a 1/2 HP Panasonic that lasted me 20 years with only one belt repair that I sold when moving. Unfortunately Panasonic stopped making vacuums. It seems like many Vacuums are built very cheaply.

    • @pugapino
      @pugapino 6 років тому +1

      Billy Darley, HP does indicate the amount of potential work(cleaning). A 1 watt vacuum cleaner would not be practical on a large carpet. However ignoring the agitator for a moment, A good indication of effectiveness would be a graph of vacuum pressure(Torrs) vs Airflow(CFM) for a particular Vacuum cleaner.

    • @billydarley6925
      @billydarley6925 6 років тому

      FiveFiveFive OneTwoOneTwo do you know of any examples or websites showing that stuff?

    • @pugapino
      @pugapino 6 років тому +1

      Billy Darley Unfortunately, I haven’t seen it. Most people would rather buy a vacuum cleaner from some guy with a British Accent in a TV commercial rather an informed decision based on actual data.

    • @billydarley6925
      @billydarley6925 6 років тому

      FiveFiveFive OneTwoOneTwo yeah I'm not super impressed with those. My interest in shark apex duo is based on reviews both written/ video and current owners feedback during face to face conversation. I'm really surprised all the positives I'm hearing about it. Not something I would have bet on. Don't look like much of a deep cleaner to me but for that I have a royal 4000.
