This is why they would never want me on a jury if I would have to convict someone solely on the word of a police officer because I would never vote to convict.
That's why it's good that the police have body cams now, and there's always cameras everywhere. I back the blue as well, but there are some bad ones too, and just think of all the stuff the bad ones got away with before cameras.
I’m 53 and this type of stuff has been happening all my life ……it’s only been since cell phones and all the cameras do we see these unprovoked murders by officers of the law. Imagine how many people they murdered and way more sent to prison ………come on people !

Tyre Nichols was a nerdy skater kid, this is why his mom initially takes it as a joke when the cop tells her he took off running, but the fact he was black in Memphis means he was a percieved thug and a threat until proven other wise. What's pathetic is that black cops in the south have this same mentality.
It's not a race thing if black officers are doing it too. The reason is most likely poor training considering it was basically a 3 stooges act how they kept pepper spraying each other.

They LIED. The skycam videos showed him leaving the skatepark. He stopped at a red light . Then made a right hand turn. There was no reckless driving or speeding. The entire encounter was illegal from the second they demanded him lay face down on the street. These cops need to get the maximum sentence.
