Hoping we get an updated version of this in 2025! It's crazy how much the meta has shifted since April and I feel like a lot of these cards could easily move up/down an entire tier.
Could rework it for the new meta!
Mind Crush would lowkey bump up to auto-include if it was at 2. Granted it was in Nekroz and Qli format, but Mained 2 of them in Satellarknights I took to Regionals, and god damn was it FIRE.
I like twister for a way to respond to skill drain and oppression from hand
¿And prohibition? In My opinion it's a good card for a Bad matchups (frogs, Hero beat, blackwing, and lightsworn in my case)

46:34 Problem with GM is Vayu turbo wins through DaD armed wing otks, Oppression, Deck Dev. Last thing i need is another card that helps me get deck dev'd for 4 😢. Id rather bring in some kycoos and breakers so i dont lose to turn 1 deck dev and hopefully generate some advantage by getting a free backrow pop or emptying the gy.
I think Imperial Iron Wall should have an honorable mention

super poly on 2 opposing monsters is not a 2-for-2 since you get the fusion monster in the end (but i do agree with the rest of the reasoning)
It is a 2 for 2 because if u fuse their absolute zero it blows up your fusion which was the scenario I talked about
yea fair enough (although not 100% sure it's correct to not count your own zero since it will blow up any additional monsters on the opponents side as well)
Book of Moon is the cleanest sideboard card against Light and Darkness Dragon (know I'm commenting pretty late but whatevs)
How is compulse good vs frogs? Like where should it be used in that matchup to trade favourably?
You use it to trade with enemy controllers, soul exchanges, brain control, out absolute zero, protect your cards from monarchs or discard traps, play through battle fader, make aggressive pushes through board locks, out vanitys fiend etc etc etc
Why is compulsory evacuation device good for frogs? Doesnt the turn player retain priority to tribute summon when the gamestate opens after treeborn is summoned? It can break dupe locks i suppose

What do you think about a sort of side deck made by singles (exept for dd crows), maybe using different counter cards to hit the same kind of decks ? to have less conflict given by identical copies and specific resolves

Why is CyDra good in the GladBeast matchup?
They eat BTH’s, torrential, and solemn judgment, occasionally.
CyDra is big for them to beat over, and they need specific combinations of cards to out it sometimes. Shrink, etc.
It attacks over their entire cast without spending a normal or playing into chariot

What do you think about skill drain?
Its definitely powerful but usually hurts ur own deck a lot, and being semi limited makes it too inconsistent to build around. Very few decks can support it.

Unless your deck is set up for it you're unlikely to utilize its effect to tribute and take control of a monster, making it a worse book of moon.

There is literally NO relevant deck in the format, in which DD Crow doesnt cause trouble. Like in...everything.
Deletes REDMD targets, cancels Miracle Fusion, eats Treeborn, eats Vayu, makes a barbecue out of Fortress, trolls Blizzard, fucks Norleras, laughs atZombies, Welle-Dad is done, even DAD itself could have a bad time if played right, same situation with JD and Archlord Krys, Quickdraw is crippled without Dandy, Geminis are not dead but could have some trouble, same goes for Dark Gaia, and then there's Amarillys...
Like...I GENUINELY do not understand, why people doesn't MAIN DD Crow.

few issues:
1. redmd doesnt target
2. it only cancels miracle fusion if there are only 1 of the required materials (usually there r 2 heroes and 2 waters due to the nature of diva/swap frog and stratos) and by extension it works even less on dark calling cuz they can banish from hand
3. it cant be chained to fortress
4. it's not very effective against welledad, let alone the newer lists that are on return and ddr
5. jd is rarely ruined by a single crow.
6. it's not very good vs blackwings which is definitely a relevant deck in the format
that being said, you could definitely maindeck it and have good results with it. it has been in the main of multiple tournament winning lists.
Sure, sure, l mean, l never said its the equivalent of Ash Blossom in the format, but still, l do think its worth to main it. What im trying to say, there aremt reallt scenarios where it bricks, even in the worst scenario, its ,,just" not ,,very" effective.

In all reality. At best it's a one for one and most the time a minus one. Going -1 to prevent the actual problem isn't that good.
